The NiteV takes the classic V design to another level. It's thorn inlays, satin black finish and classic Kramer pointy headstock make it look as mean as it sounds!

@countkittens He absolutely does not have "tough" competition because this is Paul Gilbert's style and no matter how good he's playing, it's still someone elses crap. Not bagging on him or anything
That's some amazing string skipping! Paul Gilbert is probably the best of all musically inclined role models out there, and I hope this kid takes some inspiration from Paul and makes his own music!
My favorite thing about him is the smile he gives the audience when he is done melting their faces. One thing I always liked about Paul Gilbert is that he seemed to stay some what grounded and never acted like a cocky ass hole (steve vai, malmsteen) I think this kid picked a great role model in both the technical aspect of the guitar and personaity. It will be interesting to hear what happens to him 5 or so years down the road when he is able to add even more depth to his guitar playing.

I think Paul plays it with a special tuning too...
notafraidoffuture 2 years ago
yep. he plays it on a 7 string with the bottom 3 strings tuned in D octaves.

This kid should be on Johnny Carson!! :P
He does rule though, best guitarist for the age, comparable to people 4x his age.

That kid has a hella career ahead of him. Wonder who he's studied under?
joesgt281 3 years ago 2
he's basically self-taught. his dad (an amature guitarist) taught him in the beginning.
