@TheSilverGuild Zeitgeist Movement is a movement that wants to raise awareness of the causes to the world economic problems It suggest that we must realize that we're all interconnected. We live on one planet, with finite resources It also points out that money is a deterrent to sustainable growth That money is controlled by the rich and the reason for modern-day wars I've probably explained it badly please watch this introduction for a better understanding:
@TheSilverGuild Not a Utopia, just something better than what we have today I don't think that they're suggesting a resource based economy is the most important factor at the moment anyhow, I think that they want to open people's minds is. It's not a close-minded idea, the point is that we need to change Not just our way of life, but first change our way of thinking. Once we raise the awareness of the problems and their causes to the general public, we can come together and agree upon a solution
Never really stop and think that the banks are as evil as they really are. Inflated capitalistic bastards...and as a result it's a bitch to get a job, mortgage and an education. :/...the icelandic bank(s) paint the full picture of how it will inevitably break one day, and we all know that the banks won't be able to afford to repay the money they never had in the first place (alas each icelandic resident is paying for it's bank's (and governmental ignorance/fearful) mistakes) =[ wake up people
SCAM,SCAM,SCAM,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE GOV ARE PAID BY THE BANKS TO SIGN ON TO THIS SCAM THIS MAKE ME SO DAM MAD TO SEE THIS GOING ON IF U DO THIS U WOULD BE IN JAIL SO FAST
The technical term for this practice is fractional-reserve banking. The bank has some money in the bank from actual deposits, but the they are allowed to lend out more than they actually have depending on the reserve ratio set by the central bank. Then the borrow pays back the principle plus interest. Then the principle just disappears. Since money is created out of debt then it follows that if all the debts were repaid then there would be no money in circulation. I say this is a fraudulent scam
@mjbarrowful Yes and no. There are two elements at play - the first is the creation of money from nothing. i.e. the Bank of England through "quantitative easing" lends the treasury money at a debt on which interest is then asked to be paid on top. This is the National Debt. The second is fractional reserve banking, whereby all other banks (the ones you and I have the privelege of setting foot in) create the money based on actual deposits.
It's a subtle, but nonetheless important distinction.
I hope this video gets lots of views. People fear the wealth & the power of the Elites. What I say, that no one seems to hear; their power comes from their wealth and their wealth is in fiat and now just blips in a server. One of their greatest tricks is convincing the world they have something the rest of us want and that something is actually nothing. The more people that wake up to that the sooner this whole sick, sad mess will be over with.
I never understood this until a few months ago. I do not think very many people know about it. I think this is something that is important for everyone to know about.
@TheSilverGuild "Mind you the average westerner does not think about much anyway unless its sports or celebs."
You are so right. People whine, bitch and complain, but that's all they ever do here. They never actually take action. All they care about is when American Idol comes back... It's sickening
I want to be a banker when I grow up. This video says that bankers make a lot of money.

@Channelography Thanks for the explanation. I think more people need to learn how the monetary system works and then there will be a revolution

@daroncrass Oh totally, they make money from paper that they print & print and then loan it to us at interest.
It’s so basic yet so unsuspecting that not many people stop to really think about it.
Mind you the average westerner does not think about much anyway unless its sports or celebs.
