its not the experience thats the problem with that rework attempt. The saying "the right tool for the job" would come more to mind. a much finer pitch tip would of done wonders (twizers insted of Hemostats would of helped to). Though personally i would of suggest agenst using a standard iron, and gone with soldering twizer or using a rework station. But hey if works in a pinch use whatever you can to get the job done.

lol good job. I cant solder worth crap, but I can weld 2 pieces of steel together :-\
was about to mod a dlink dwa140 and noticed a mmcx connecter on it... thank god, I cant even see the contacts with a magnifying glass.
