  • I kind of want one of these so fucking bad...but at the same time I'm getting a "meh" vibe goin on. You know what I mean?

  • this is bereta 91

  • WTF is the reason for the music on this video???

  • ISAIAH 19:3-4 THE SPIRIT OF EGYPT SHALL FAIL IN ITS MIDST;I WILL DESTROY ITS “COUNSEL”:..THE EGYPTIANS WILL I GIVE INTO THE HAND OF THE CRUEL/FIERCE LEADER.DAMASCUS SYRIA–OLDEST CITY,NEVER BEEN DESTROYED(ISAIAH 17:1)ISRAEL DIVIDED(JOEL 4:1-4)JESUS SAID,HIS 2ND COMING,IF U SEE DMASCUS DSTROYED & SRAEL DVIDED.IF U THINK QUAKES R COMMON THINK OF THESE PROPHECIES,THESE R N THE NEWS NOW.1THESSALONIANS 4:17,WE’LL MEET JESUS IN THE CLOUDS(RAPTURE) REPENT!READ BIBLE –GIV YOUR LIFE TO JESUS.

  • THIS FUCKING SONG

  • THAT THING IS SEXY !!!

  • i need one of these, sometimes i feel my penis is not big enough

  • hmmm.. fantastic music.

  • hmm, pistol from Eqvilibrium)

  • Brasil!!!!! yeah, Taurus is a brazilian manufacturer and i love it, im just waiting to be 18 years old so i can buy my own handgun! XD nice vid mate

  • @lucarloro2 In Brazil you need to be 25 years old to own a handgun if you're a civilian. Just so you know.

  • dear santa......

ive been a good little boy this year, next year... i want to be a badass >=D

  • Is this Barry's Model or something?

  • Its the kids gun off of the movie wanted.

  • The very beautiful gun

  • Hmm does it work with the m9 as well? almost the same gun but the frame is slightly different.

  • Leon the professional

  • lol green dot "safety" .... don't you mean "green dot" safety?

  • How random was the Green Mamba part........LOL, made the whole video.

  • That almost looks like Grammaton Cleric John Preston's Beretta sidearm! Awesome gun!

  • How many rounds have you had through the gun? Have you noticed any wear from the slide meeting the compensator??

  • @AnarchistJdub Gun was made in 1988, so maybe about 8,000 rounds. No wear from the slide to compensator. Only problem I've ever had was the Locking Block cracking in half ( common problem with these pistols & the Beretta 92's ) But Taurus replaced it free with the Lifetime warranty.

  • Does the compensator work as a muzzle brake??

    If not culd someone explain?

NB:Im a noob when it comes to weapons (Exept shotguns hehe :)

  • @bolla999999999 Yes like a muzzle brake the compensator acts in the same way, it also helps put more weight to the front of the pistol helping which helps with rapid fire.

  • @Arkanix420 TNX m8

  • Robocop wants his gun back

  • Not trying to be an ass in any way , I always say to each their own . And it looks awesome ... But why did you feel the need to compensate a 9mm ? I own and shoot the Taurus PT 100 AR (.40) and the weapon is heavy enough that recoil is VERY minimal .. especially compared to my .40 S&W ... Just a question ..

  • @rarekind40 Because of the movie, Leon the Professional, is the main reason. (although it does help) It had nothing to do with recoil, accuracy & weight-balance.

Thanks for watching and asking a serious question.

  • @a7green Good enough reason ! It does look sick as hell though ! Wish they had one for my .40 lol ... Guess I will have to go with the firedragon barrel ...

  • @a7green Sometimes people just put stuff on their guns because it looks sweet. It's nice hearing from a gun hobbyist who knows how to have some fun and isn't preparing for the end of the world.

  • LOooooolLLl look at all the holes in the roof at the range.

  • Love the music choice.

  • that looks like american shhoting center. am i right?

  • Its no RoboCop gun but its a damn good start.

  • looks like the gun of the robocop he he he

  • hot but nothing against IMI deagl AE

  • its a beretta or a type of berreta?

  • does the compensator help with recoil noticeably?

  • @Gabricokun Yes. I've fired thousands of rounds through it, When I added the compensator, only took 3 shots to notice the difference.

  • @a7green One last question: If the compensator is added, does the range of the bullet decrease? and if so by how much?

  • Yeah Bourne movies rock!

  • I´m not a firearms expert just curious, what´s the compensator for? thx

  • @yosoylavergavoladora

    It reduces recoil.

  • Looks like a mini-Robocop gun!

  • Where did you buy the comp from? I really like it. What kind of mods would I have to do to a stock gun? Is there really a purpose for the comp other than to look cool? This music rocks! Could you tell me who the artist is?

  • who make that compensator??? I really like to see one and make one from scratch. is that range the ASC I can tell by the bullet holes in the rooftop and yellow wall barricade. contact me if you near by the ASC, I live close to it .am a gunsmith enthusiast.

  • @1ELJAGUAR

    READ THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION.

  • Do they make them in Stainless Steel too ? Where can I find one ?

    Dirk

  • @dirksworldtube

    READ THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION.

  • Where can I find one and do they make them in stainless steel ?

  • gah the 9mm didnt kick much in the first place but that looks like it could be a .22

  • beautiful gun, btw. i always did like customized peices. nice job on yours! :)

  • I think as far as the gas pushing on the pistol down has not have much effect on the pistol, but the weight that was on the end of the pistol does... DAMN looks bad ass though!!! nice shooting and demonstration...

  • i put a compensator on my real gun and it blew up wtf

  • whats a compensator?

  • ill be building the same compensator soon

  • ill be building the same compensator

  • do u know how to take out the firing pin block?????

  • a taurus pt 99 is a .40 S&W

  • WTF does a ocmpasator really do??

  • @xaioguy73 well it can do a number of things but desired outcome is the same, its primary use is for target shooting, it helps with recoil and keeps the shooter on target in two ways the "weight" or the "Gas ports" on the top creating downward force to ease the recoil a little, some compensator's allow a bit of bump protection for an extended barrel (like in some HK compensators)....and there secondary use is just looking badass ;)

  • Uhh Leon The Professional hu ;))

very nice I like it x)))

  • tell me how much sexier that gun got...

  • can i get one of these for a taurus pt908?!!?!? Pleasssee thiss is sooo bad assss..

  • C'mon compensator ??? was it really necessary that gun is pretty heavy enough and has no kick at all .

  • Thats the shit from Robocop :)

  • How do like that 30 round magazine? Is it a National Mag? i was planning on getting one for my Taurus pt917 but i have heard they are cheap.

  • @aklane666 The 30rd mag is from Promag. And yeah I like it, never had any problems with it at all, I can actually get 36 rounds to fit in the mag.

I don't anything about the National Mag brand being good or bad, so I can't help you there.

  • @a7green Iv been cautious of getting any of the 30 round mags because of bad reviews. I'll have to get a promag, thanks man.

  • where can i get this for my beretta M9???? pleaseeee helpppp

  • @MultiSr16 Click on LINK in the description box, read ALL info under user name "Ric70506" there's now 26 pages, So I suggest reading any Updates under that user name. Rest is up to you.

  • @a7green thx........:)

  • How does that compensator attach to the weapon?

  • The lighting during the actual shooting is aweful. Can't really see it in action.

I'm wondering if the compensator helps with rotation.

The thing climbs so high, there's NO way to do a double-tap; and, it makes me jealous to see other pistols being fired, shot after shot, with very little muzzle climb. Wondering if a compensator will help with that at all? Otherwise, I'm selling it and buying something more user friendly.

  • @301steady If you sell your gun, what other gun do you plan on getting ???

  • @a7green Because of money - nothing right away. If I have to use it, one shot is all I would need: so I'd keep it for now. I'd want something easier, more for my wife, in case she has to use it. Maybe Glock 19? I can test test test all day; but, I wouldn't know, until I could convince the wife to go to shoot it; but, she won't even go rent one saying it's a waste. She's shot the PT-99 before, claiming HALF at the pain of my thumb. It's more for her. Revolver? Berreta .380? What's good for wives?

  • @301steady Oddly enough last week I bought a Glock 19 Gen3, and I love it, It's very accurate. Only because my Locking Block broke on the PT99 @ the range (@ Taurus for repairs right now)

Hey maybe a Kel Tec PF9 for your wife.

  • @301steady smith and wesson's new bodyguard series., it has built in insight laser and is wife compatable

  • I am glad you are happy with your purchase but I think that is a very poor fitting comp. It does not flow with any of the guns lines at all. Picking up my PT92 this week so not really sure what other comp options there are either.

  • man i want one but $200 im have to put in some overtime .

  • RoboCop Gun!!

  • a comp on a 9mm? mehhh . .

it does look pretty cool though.

oh, and your sights - are those night sights? I've got a Taurus PT111 millenium I use for cc and i was thinking about getting night sights on it. do they work pretty well on yours? im pretty sure the PT111 has the same sight picture as the PT99 AF.

  • @Thuringen The sights & safety are actually painted with Acrylic. (Used to be Red dots) And the PT99's have adjustable sights.

  • @Thuringen now if he were to fire hotter loads I think the comp would work even better for 9mm.

  • at 1:10 in the video, you mention that you were singed?

    By flying brass or compensator?

I have a Pt101P (.40 caliber) that I am looking at getting a 357SIG barrel and a compensator may be a good idea for magnum type rounds.

  • @frankgon4 It was by flying brass.

  • BTW....wonder if it's as effective as comps that are attached to the barrel like the ones used on open division guns. It seems plausible since its attached to the frame instead of the slide although there is a small gap between the barrel and the comp.

  • this song sounds so familiar.. what movie is it from

  • If it wasn't for that ugly as hell trigger guard I'd take the Taurus over the Beretta due to the thumb safety but hey, nice vid :)

  • thats sweet man.where did u get it??want one for my 92fs so bad!

  • @HYPOspeed Thanks, The LINK is in description box.

  • sweet guns man, i got my own rifle but im lookin forward to gettin into pistol shooting aswell. can anyone tell wat the song is in this video i recognise it from somewhere?

  • @preacher2121 Jason Bourne (Ultimatum) Theme..."Extreme Ways" by Moby

  • A compensator isn't serving any purpose other than good looks, at least that's what they do in Airsoft.

  • @derallter So you comment on a video about a real firearm that a compensator doesn't do anything due to your extensive experience with fake air guns?

  • @PaleHorseWC2

    That is correct.

  • ---Primary purpose of compensators: Making a gun look bad-ass....

---Secondary purpose: Boring recoil compensation.... lol

  • if you know waht airsoft guns are, they have compensators for them i was wondering if they actually work thanks

  • @GhillesInTheMist117 I don't know. Try looking up some YT channels dealing with Airsoft guns & asking them.

(But my guess would be that they're for looks only, Since there is no weight OR recoil to compensate for on Airsoft guns.)

  • @GhillesInTheMist117 for real race guns they are attached to the barrel for better results. You do have to use what are considered "hot loads" that usually travel around 1400fps (most use .38 super or shoot 9mm major) so that you can take advantage of the gases forcing its way up the through the ports in the compensator which help with less muzzle flip. For airsoft its just for looks.....

  • Bye the way... No one actually makes a comp for a taurus or beretta which is worth spending $300.00 on. You are better off making one for your self. A little patience and some basic metal working skills are all you need. That guy who is making these SGS copies is ripping people off. Come on! The Taurus and the Beretta are about the same price as the compensator. Some Aluminium, stainless rod and a drill press are all you need to make one.

  • @musicmaneman38 - who cares what you can ghetto rig together instead, 9mm's hardly justify a compensator for anything less than full auto or limp wristed fire by a little girl. It however looks pretty cool in this case.

  • @circuitsports Well first off I am a MACHINIST! So, I do NOT "ghetto rig" anything together. And if you read my earlier post you would see that the PT-101 is a .40 cal.

i have been shooting since I turned 21. I am now 41... I have a CNC MILL and do not have to even use it to make something as basic as the "SGS style" compensator. I still do not think anyone should have to spend $300.00 for something you can CAREFULLY make. By God... Most Taurus pistols are $299.00 - $400.00.

  • Comment removed

  • I am building a copy of this compensator for my Taurus PT101. Though without the side stability rails that hug the frame. My PT101 has an accessory rail on the frame. But, basically the same setup. The PT101 is a .40cal.

  • this would be an awesome video if there wasn't any music

  • The Taurus manual does say if you try to remove the slide and it does not come off to pull the trigger.Turn the page like I did after it would not come off.I think the break down should all be on one page and it would not confuse people. It reads like the instructions are done-the next page tells you to pull trigger if slide does not come off.It should just tell you to pull the trigger from the get go.None I have seen will let the slide come off without pulling the trigger.

  • looks great, good work!

  • Reminds of the heat that Leon packs in the movie Leon the professional awesome piece you got there

  • good looking comp

  • what is the compensator for?

sorry this stuff is new to me

  • @Titleification Info in the description box. Thanks.

  • @a7green i dont get how that little thing reduces recoil haha oh well

  • @Titleification Compensators reduce recoil by redirecting escaping gas from the bullet upwards, hence the vents on the top of the device. Since pistols tend to kick upwards from the recoil, the compensator "compensates" for this recoil and pushes downwards on the gun via the gas redirection.

  • @Titleification it reduces muzzle climb.

  • The compensator reduces upward recoil by transmitting gas pressure upwards through the exhaust ports as the projectile exist the barrel trough the compensator. Transmitting recoil from not the actual firing of the firearm but the cycling action of the slide action actually producing the "kick". It helps create an equilibrium in the process.

  • I love the sgs compensator(sgs style anyways, original sgs comps are hard to come by). Sexy 9mm, looks great!

  • Robocop Gun

  • what is the name of the song

  • ummmm......YES

  • looks like a ripoff of an m9

  • @ChazOneZeroSeven hilariously retarded

  • @605Scorpion it looks like a 200$ 80s movie prop

  • Sweet upgrade! I need to get one of those. How much did it set you back?

  • @mikemcgill23451 See: (more info) Thanks.

  • that is awesome. theres like no recoil. deff gonna get one for my 1911

  • Looks like robocops gun

  • That cloud looks like a snail.

  • wow it barely moves

  • Kinda cool at first, but it makes one of the best looking guns imo look gimmicky.

  • looks like a m9

  • What does the AF stand for?

  • @ugslamma I have no idea.

  • @a7green Just wondering I have an older pt 99af purchased in 1986

  • @ugslamma aluminum frame

  • @cbrnate thanks now I know

  • @ugslamma alloy frame

  • @ugslamma

    aluminum frame

  • is it just the weight of the compensator that reduces the recoil??

  • @theshadow12349 The weight & the ports on top.

  • You were at American Shooting Centers at a time when it WASN'T windy? Did hell just freeze over?

  • @chechnya Not windy, but at that time is was like 99 degrees out there.

  • If that comp was a little longer it'd be the robocop gun haha!

  • @iviaverick52 Yeah, I get the Robocop comment alot. Thanks for your time.

  • Have you ever considered a hogue rubber grip with finger grooves? It really improves the overall feel of the gun, I love it! With the compensator, it could give outstanding results, you should try it! It's pretty unexpensive, too.

  • leon's gun!

  • this is the song from borne identity, what is it called?

    also sweet gun

  • @soixe1997 in the description, and thanks.

  • im guessing they also make a comp for the .40 s&w?

  • @fullauto223 Click on LINK provided > page 13 > post #123.

  • i like your comp, but your gun sucks. should have gotten with fixed sights.. i had this same gun about 15 years ago go..a nd the rear sight broken on me several times.

  • Comment removed

  • @iviaverick52 taurus had this gun 15 years ago

  • The thread on the beretta forum is rather old & the e-mail link I was given I have not gotten a response from. Is there any update to where I can buy one of these? where soemone will reply?

  • @flatblackvenge The only update on that site is on Page 13 (post #123). And he probably has alot of e-mails to answer, might be the reason for the delay. Other than that, the LINK I provided is all the info I have.

  • @a7green Yeah, I joined the Beretta forum as DSMI4. Since I became a member only yesterday, I figured that it would only be a matter of time. I left a post with a few questions there too so they could see it. .... but it's nice to see someone's paying attention. Thank you.

  • Did anyone else notice all the bullet holes in the ceiling. Some people just shouldn't own guns. And for the record I love guns so don't get the idea that I'm some liberal.

  • @KJRUSS0 They're for aerodynamics, just kidding. But seriously, every other station there is like that.

  • @a7green Yeah, I my local indoor range has dozens of holes both in the ceilings and floor. I just hope those people don't carry.

  • does the compensater affect the stopping power and the range of the bullet.??

  • @pito111 No.

  • this is going be a stupid question, but if it is a Taurus why does it look like a Beretta 92fs?

  • @snogluver Its a really a good question...

Taurus bought Beretta back in the 1980's, and basically copied the 92FS.

    wikipedia

"Taurus makes these pistols (called the PT92) without the need for a license from Beretta since their design is based on the original Beretta 92, whose patents have since expired."

  • @a7green Your close on that statement a7green. Taurus WAS actually a Beretta manufacturing plant. In the late 80's Beretta decided to shut down the plant. Instead several Brazilian investors bought the plant and the machinery. The originally had the rights to produce it do to an agreement with Beretta, but when the patent expired they ceased sending Beretta a check. The Brazilian Army and several police forces use the PT92, which was a driving reason why the plant was bought.

  • @Hammerhead6814 Thanks.

  • @a7green I learned something from that comment.

    thanks.

  • @arckangel2087

    Comfort

Con: It's not comfortable carrying it, Especially with the added Comp.

Pro: On the plus side, you can never forgot that it's there.

    Concealment

Con: Any large frame pistol is tricky to conceal.

Pro: But i'm successful at it everyday.

  • @arckangel2087 Explain "as far as an everyday carry"

Do you mean comfort & concealment ???

  • @arckangel2087 It only appears to have a long barrel.

And to answer your question... longer barrels improve accuracy.

  • Nice Weapon! Great Vid!

  • thanx

  • its jason bourne

  • sweet vid i want my first gun to b a taurus
