I never would have expected that Sting and The Chieftains would do a cover of Leonard Cohen. They did an amazing job with this amazing and beautiful song.
@Justice1999 if you think this is unusual, you should check the video of ziggy marley and the chieftans doing redemption song....... (not a remix) ziggy sitting with the aul lads lol
great repose to Cohen's song, nice rendition that does honour to both the music and its author. The words are so sensitive, and the singer makes it more so. Thank you.
A terrific arrangement and performance of one of Cohen's loveliest pieces! I'm frequently surprised at how variations on Cohen's work can be completely different from his originals yet have their own charm and power. (Much like Rufus Wainwright's campy/vampy rendition of Everybody Knows is so cool.) Here, though, the melancholy of the original has been replaced with what can only be described as joy. Odd, but it works.
Wow...I happened on this video by chance; not only is it one of my favorite Leonard Cohen songs, but sung and instrumented by amazing artists at the top of my list. Thanks for posting this gem!
Ha sido muy interesante escuchar a Sting interpretando música Celta. Es una buena interpretación de un muy bello tema.

My favorite version of my favorite Cohen song. Just beautiful. All of the other covers on Tower of Song album are amazing, too. Thanks.

Thank you for posting this. I have only heard Cohen.
He's great. I guess for those who know that, the comment is redundant but it's always a good thing to repeat what's good.
