Hey, I installed fedora 8 on a new disk ... i have ubuntu on an older disk .. do you know how to dual boot ubuntu and fedora installed on separate disks?

of course. I am using fedora 9 and ubuntu 8.04LTS on Desktop(CPU3.Ghz ,1GDDR).
Fedora 9 is /dev/sda1 (40G)
Ubuntu 8.04 is /dev/sda2 (40G)
Swap is /dev/sda3 (2G)

guarda, io ho installato ubuntu sul mio portatile.. non male, ma ho avuto problemi con la scheda video :) ho un hp6720s. Fedora è più "massiccio", ma leggermente meno pratico e supportato di ubuntu. La differenza comunque è minima, ma ci sono affezionato :P

stessi problemi con la mia scheda video sul mio portatile vaio...:-S domani provero' ad installare fedora magari riusciro a sistemare i "tasti speciali"e (ubuntu sul desktop che uso piu spesso) .grazie mille
