  • The first part was not witchcraft at all, but shamanism that goes back to pre hispanic cultures. As for the second part Idk.

  • what is the meaning of eggs laid around your house; ever since i discovered eggs in my front and side yards i've had nothing but bad luck for six months straight; please help with answers.

Rather than those useless, damaging pills...

  • these people needs attention

  • @72ve17 this shit is real. i am mexican

  • ( from previous)- thing is there are many ways to uncross/break such ill will prayers/spells.

You may have to goto a medicine man/woman or a spiritual guide like a rabii or priest, whatever your faith is for help or ask the god of your faith for guidence in how to overcome and be in peace but i do know is you do have to follow a ritual than mere 1 minute prayer.

  • *hugs* sorry to hear that such things happend to innocent people that get effected by stuff ancestors did before.

But it happends, curses, especially heavy ones bellieve it or not still follow the soul into the next incarnation.

But once your aware of this consciously and wanna put a stop to it the better-

  • Hello, it depends on the type of spell the witch cast on the person.

But usually when cursed /hexed, you will experience many problems, be it money problems, unknown health problems that baffle doctors and only gets worse, nightmares, things happening to your house like hauntings and extream cases sudden insanity or dealth.

  • @houkahooker wow interesting do you have personal experience with this or heard others expierence ??

    Best regard Kevin

  • @Raynightdude

    not all wiccans are witches....

just thought i should tell you...

  • I was always taught NEVER cast a spell on anyone without their consent or the effects will get you 10 fold.

I'm mainly a kitchen witch, and deal with helping people emotionaly it's an empathy like quality that I have that allows me to sense distress in my friends and people around me.

  • Anyone can become a witch, Theres different types of witches, good, bad, some cure with sacrifices, some with herbs, some withes can tell if you have a curse or if something troubles you.

  • I am a wiccan (witch) and we don't do bad spells and we are all about harmony and nature not curses and meaness.

  • this people are not witches! they are people that have the blessing to heal with plants and herbs just like all should instead on poping pill like the white man do.Of course there is evil everywhere even in all churches and cultures.we need to focus on posited and stop the ingnorance.

  • Sometimes shamans and witches are put in the same category. And pills save lives too you know.

  • Also, a lot of people confuse things like, 'The Evil Eye' with witchcraft and curses, but it's not related to those things at all. Basicly, the Evil Eye is the glance of an jealous person. According to Jewish folklore, the glance of a jealous person is a prayer to god for equality, a prayer that god will answer. The belief in the evil eye has spread nearly all around the world, but it's not 'witchcraft' or cursing. Most people don't consciously realize when they are giving the evil eye.

  • There's a lot of ways to counteract the evil eye, like spitting for one! If a barren woman is giving the evil eye to woman who is walking her baby, she can spit on ground or the baby! Another way is to swear at or make fun of the child. If a barren woman over compliments a child the mother can respond by saying, 'My baby is fat and ugly' or somethign to that effect to protect him/her from the evil eye! The most popular method is the color blue and blue amulets, the reason blue is for boys!

  • i've heard of "the evil eye" from my ex-sister-in-law. the mexican/spanish people call it "ojo" (pronounced oh-ho). the person that is suffering from "ojo" can be cleansed with an egg. there's a specific prayer (wish i knew it) said while the person doing the "cleansing" touches the egg to the victim in the sign of the cross. it's supossed to work. :)

  • Yes, the egg is rubbed on the body and is said to absorb the negative influence. True practioners will take the egg and break it against a tree, putting the evil in it instead of a human being, or else break it at a crossroads so that the energy is distributed among the passerbys. Con artists will insert blood and black stuff into the egg prior to the cleansing and then break it in a glass in front of the person. They then tell the person they need to pay more money for a stronger cleansing.

  • The prayer is probably one of the more usual one, like an Our Father or Hail Mary, even the 23rd Psalm which is employeed by practioners for many situations.

  • I haven heard of that I'll ask my spanish teacher about that.

I've heard of Ojo ma Dios or ojo de Dios

the eye of god but i heard som ething about the evil eye being a misunderstanding and that it actually a rune of protection but I'm not going to play with something like that so I guess I wont know.

  • i didn't say it had anything to do with witchcraft or curses. all i said was my people acknowledge that too & go about curing it differently dude. calm down.

  • the truth is not to be told, it is to be reflected

  • real witches dont believe in practicing black magick. Most adhere to the guideline "an it harm none do what you will" from the wiccan rede. Nor do they believe in Satan for that matter. Blessed be

  • I think you mean Wiccans follow the rede, not all Witches do. The brujeria practised in the video has NOTHING to do with Wicca. Not all Witches are Wiccan.

  • evilbarb: Thank You! I am so sick of Wiccans acting like they can copyright the practice of magic. You don't need to be Wiccan to practice magic, and guess what! Most of the 'magic' done by Wiccans is learned from other practices. For example, most magic practiced by people in the US come from the practice of Hoodoo/Root-Work, i.e. burning colored candles, fixing mojos, spiritual baths, etc...

  • Thanks!

  • need spells pm me i can give them to you if you want to learn

  • I respect that

  • you cant really talk about magic, its what a person is even without the speech or thinking. its what some want to believe are a feeling, but if u really look into it, you will find that magic is very real and no one is exempt from the effects.

  • i respect a lot of witchcraft but something about this seemed kinda bs.

  • yeah it seems like bs coz all the shamans and wichdoctors lost there "powers" when the mix there practices with western religion so most of what they do now isnt as powerfull as it was back before the spanish arived in mexico

  • Magician12345: The Old Currendera, (Folk Healer) was legit, but the stupid guy doing the 'black magic' seemed ridiculous and made up. I mean he's wearing a cape...mwha-ha-ha!

  • very well put brujero, its nice to know that there are others out there that are well taught and have such knowledge to our indigenous magico-religious roots..bendita sea

  • Santeria is an Afro-cuban spiritual tradition not Mexican.

What the video is talking about with red black and white magic are the classic Brujeria forms in Mexico. Veracruz is not the only place in Mexico with Brujeria my family is from Zacatecas and that is where my personal Brujeria roots come from and from family in Chihuahua.

Brujeria is rooted in both Medieval Iberian Witchcraft and Mexican Indigenous Witchcraft i.e. Chichimecs, Mexicas, Mayas etc.

    Peace

  • Brujero13: by red, black, and white, are you referring to Santisima Muerte by chance?

  • Mexican 'witchcraft' is called Brujeria. Their are both white and black practioners.

  • well said ElPerfectTorso

  • tthomasd777 is correct. i've had immediate family members affected by brujeria. there IS difference. black magic is to cause harm to someone else. elperfecttorso ..... so, when u cast a spell to cause harm to someone ....... you wouldn't consider that evil????!!!!

  • Nenonica1: Are you saying you wouldn't do black magic against someone who harmed you or a your loved one? 'Black' and 'White' are just terms and the boundaries between them can be very vague. I am reminded of the movie, The Craft, where the Occult shop keeper states, "True magic is neither black nor white. It is both for nature is both, loving and cruel, all at the same time. The only good or bad is in the heart of the witch. Life keeps a balance on it's own."

  • no i wouldn't.

  • Your choice. I would. To me, it's a form of self-defense. I'm not talking about cursing people for looking at you wrong or for calling you names. Instead, I'm talking about cursing the guy who raped your daughter, the person who killed your mother, the bitch at work who spread lies about you to get you fired, etc... Because the truth is that people who are cursed most likely did something to deserve it. They hurt somebody bad and that person got revenge via magic.

  • With regard to the movie, 'The Craft', the scene where Sarah puts the binding spell on Nancy that ultimately forces her into the Psych Ward is a form of Black Magic. (I Bind You Nancy From Doing Harm; Harm Against Other People And Harm Against Yourself.) Most people fail to realize this and think it is still 'good' magic. It's not. If is was white magic, then Sarah could have put a protection spell on herself. When you enforce your will over another person then it's black magic.

  • This is why the boundaries between black and white magic are so vague. If you put a love spell on a specific person, instead of simply drawing to you some unknown person you would be compatible with and who is also looking for love, then it is black magic. When you do a spell to out-compete another candidate for a job, it's black magic. So there seems to be 'acceptable' forms of black magic simply because they are used so frequently and people don't recognize them for what they are.

  • people make mistakes. my definition of self defense isn't using magic against anyone. its called being protected. i wear gold in order to keep bad stuff away from me. evil tends to be drawn towards the glitter on my finger instead of my "inner-glitter" ;)

  • Oh, that's cool. So you believe the gold, a symbol of the sun, will ward off evil. I've read about the belief that the supernatural entities known as witches, not just people doing spells, are atrracted to pretty, shiny things. In the past 'Witch Balls', Shiny blue glass balls were hung and were said to protect against witches. These witch balls later evolved into the garden orbs of today. (blue for protection, shiny to get the witch's attention, reflective to reflect back the witches evil)

  • u sound pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the supernatural/witches/witchcraft. i dunno 'bout gold being "a symbol of the sun". if u say that's what it is ..... then so be it. i'm a roman-catholic .... therefore i believe in one God. i ALSO understand there IS such a thing as black/white magic. my mom was a victim of black magic a LONG time ago. she almost died. she's the one that told me gold keeps evil away from me.

  • Perhaps your Mom was more knowledgable on the subject than you thought! The only thing I can say is that Black Magic is real, but the belief people have that people are running around doing curses on people is wrong. People do curses when they have been victimized in order to get revenge or to stop that person from hurting another person. If you research the withcraft from the middle ages and even Salem, alot of the accusers were like, 'I stole her cow and then she cursed me...Burn her!'

  • And I know for a fact, because I do readings for people, that many people come to me claiming they are cursed and they always act innocent until you actualy find out what happened. So my advice to people is, treat everybody well and you have nothing to fear from black magic and curses. Jesus' 'Golden rule'. Also, if you are completely innocent of any crime against the person who put a curse on you then you have much spiritual protection on your side.

  • I was taught that God will not step in and protect you from experiencing the consequences of your actions, even if a curse is that consequence. If you hurt someone you can't just run to God and think that he is going to protect you from the wrath of your victim. My advice, if you did something wrong go to the victim and at least apologize and try to make it better. If you are under a curse you also have spiritual protection so that you won't be hurt more than the pain you caused.

  • i don't believe people that become cursed actually DID something to "deserve it". sometimes all u've gotta do is EXIST. some people feel threatened & think they've GOTTA place a curse on you.

  • You are free to believe what you want but that doesn't mean that it's right. For example, you are Roman Catholic and a lot of other Christians believe Roman Catholics are evil or pagans because you worship Mary & the Saints. Magic requires energy to be effective. For a person to curse another they would have to have the energy and drive to make it effective, something that comes from being wronged/harmed and wanting revenge. Otherwise there's no energy there to make the curse stick.

  • I should state that I'm not saying that there aren't people who attempt to do curses at the drop of a hat or what not, but that these people are mostly weak and their magic ineffective.

  • you may or may not be right. but there ARE people out there that ARE EASILY threatened & WILL put something out there ....... just because u don't completely agree with me doesn't mean "their magic" is ineffective my friend.

  • Well, everyone is free to form their own opinions. A topic we didn't even touch on is the fact that a lot of con artists want people to think they are cursed so they will give them money to take off the curse.

  • true ....... i've heard of that.

  • this is why i hate magic, it is borrowing someone elses abilities or power at a cost.....and most of the time ppl don't know what they're getting into

  • like he said, magick isnt black either white, as satan isnt evil and god isnt good.they both helped us,god made us satan gifted us,both should be respected

  • Dude were did you get your info on Satan and God. You need to check your sources because you have been decived my friend. According to the bible Satan is said to be roamimg around like a lion looking to devour whoever is in his path. He is called the author of lies. God on the other hand is love. He desires that no man be seperated from him. In fact he loves us so much that he sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for us.

  • You shouldn't assume that only your religion is the correct one. =) Be nice and respect people with different beliefs, because that's all they are. For example, I believe in many Gods and Goddesses. You believe in one, I assume, and the other guy respects both God and Satan. Different people, different beliefs. It's not about who's right or wrong, it's about respecting and loving each other.

  • I understand what you are saying, but sometimes when you love someone you have tell them the truth. Not all religons can be true. If all are true than none are true. It is a principle of logic that can not be ignored. The bible is either true of not. It can not be just true for me, it must be true for eveybody. If it is untrue for me, it is untrue for everybody.

  • "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." I think there are bits of truth in every religion. No one has all of the answers.

Remember that the Bible has been changed, added to, and taken away from by people throughout history, for many reasons, such as having power over people and enforcing laws.

  • The bible has been found to be 98% accurate to the original text. We have over 5000 manuscrips and some date within the lifetime of the eyewitness of Jesus. No other ancient document can say that. We have copy's of the book of Isiaih that are over 2500 years old. This copy matches today's bible 98%. The only diffrence is gramatical. The only way you could say that the bible has been change is if your ignorant of the historical facts about the bible.

  • You say these things yet you offer no sources at all...without support, they are just words of someone who'll say anything to defend their book.

I just personally do not want to place my faith in something physical like a book. I believe in the Gods, not in text.

  • Waterkeerp is right. Back then, the bible said nothing about the dinosuars, now adays they're said to be the ark of something and lived in the sky, sounds like the church copied from halo.

  • this goes way back from los mayas!

  • Santeria exists in certain parts of Mexico mostly the East Coast, How ever not all Magickal pretives in Mexico are Santeria.........what this is ,is Brujeria which is more of a mixture a Native American and Catholocism.........Santeria is that and African culture and beliefs mixted it vaires and changes name throughout Latin American depending on the Demographics.

  • True magick is neither black nor white, it is both because nature is both

  • you copied that from the craft

  • true, true but I totally agree

  • This is Santeria, right?
