  • Amazing! Just what I consider moving good! Do you have the night of the band, or the songs they are playing ? And the couple with the thin black woman, her and her man are dressed in brown ( they are at 2:55 ) ? Cheers !

  • Videos like this always encourage me to be more creative with my dancing. I love the variety of styles presented here.

  • this is going into my favorites!

  • I love this video. Amazing

  • Can we get caption tags with the names of the dancers? I recognize some, but I can be a bit newbish in my lindy hopper recognition.

  • nice

  • You guys, that's not Alice, it's Aurélia Lépine.

  • Geez, this vid is great. I don't know how anyone on this YouTube thread can say a single negative thing about the dancers, unless they are better than they are. Aren't these some of the best in the world? Why all the criticism?

  • @Pam0284

It doesn't matter what the topic: dancing, sports, politics, even a cute little baby or duckys and bunnies.....there will always be people who are negative and will comment as such.

I try not to even read the comments anymore- it makes me lose my faith in humanity.

  • to be completely honest, I am not a fan of Juan, Sharon is incredible but he just seems soo cheezy and there just something about him. He is very good though, just not my style/taste in dancing.

  • agreed - they are really good performers, like unbelievable, which is why i think they are in this competition but everything they do looks practiced, even social dancing. they don't have the same natural raw talent and effortlessness of say skye or naomi.

  • exactly, glad someone else out there agrees with me. In my opinion Sharon is one of the few people I would say looks better as a solo dancer than a partner dancer. Juan is too much flash and not enough substance. Like I stated earlier though, these are simply my tastes and opinions and I am sure the others out there would 100% disagree with me.

  • I like when new dancers talk crap about experienced dancers. "Raw talent" only goes so far anywhere in life. All of these guys are practiced as hell, and the hard work they put in is what pays off. Max and Annie are running solos just the same as Juan and Sharon, it just may not be as obvious to you. Most couples run sequences.

I don't know how you can knock Juan and Sharon when Jonathan and Laura aren't even dancing on beat.

  • lol ok well I have been dancing for over 5 years and when I do compete, I often place and still have yet not to make it to finals for the comps I do, so save the "New dancers know nothing speech". I second of all I know that people in spotlights use sequences, the dancers I enjoy watching have a couple of choreographed moves, not the whole sequence. Also it is possible to make a sequence look spontaneous and not simply a "and next this move after this one". Juan and Sharon LOOK choreographed.

  • k. Length of time dancing is irrelevant. This is one of MANY video posts you've been trolling, but due to fear of repercussion you follow it up with "this is just my taste".

That's like me punching you in the balls and saying "It's okay; nothing personal."

But please, a video of your dancing? If you always place in comps then there should be plenty. I know you won't produce though, because there are no videos of your dancing.

You're like a little kid waving his arms in the background.

  • lol kid. Sure thing there bud, this coming from a guy who decides to pick a fight over a comment on youtube. I am sorry if I offended you by saying that I don't like one of you dance idols but get over it!!! I am allowed to like who I want and I am allowed to comment if I don't like someone such as in this case. That's not to say that they are bad dancers, simply that Juan is not someone I would choose to emulate. I will post some videos soon in order to satisfy your curiosity.

  • Why don't you post something at the same time so that we all can see what your level is!

  • I love the faces Emily Jo makes. Whenever she does something cool she gets this cute cocky look that says "Yeah, I just did that. I know I'm awesome"

  • Yeah!!! Juan Villafañe (Argentina) & Sharon Davis(Australia) after Skye & Frida! All they are greats!

  • Could anyone tell me who the girl in the green top is?

  • Laura Glaess from Austin?

  • Alice Mei

  • the one in the lined blueish green shirt is Alice Mei and the girl in the olive green looking shirt is Sara Deckard

  • I love Juan's face when skye and frida do the tango variation at 5:20 ish. he freaks out.

And there is so much great dancing in this video it makes me squirm.
