Chris Ellis #49, Darryl Tapp #55, Carlton Powell #99, Johnathon Davis #56, Xavier Adibi #11, Justin Hamilton #27, Aaron Rouse #36, and Jimmy Williams #2 were each starters that day for VT, that were drafted into the NFL.

The LSU game was the exception, not the rule. Do you remember when LSU, the defending SEC champs came to Blacksburg 5 years earlier? It was equally not as pretty. The only difference is Beamer doesn't run up the score. I think that's a flaw personally, but considering the circumstances for this season for Virginia Tech, I think he could have been a little more hospitable. Make no mistake, Tech took the LSU beating laying down. They even took some freshmen out of redshirt to get them pt.

I don't think that a single one of those hits were dirty. Certainly if it happened the other way around you would feel they were clean hits on Vick. If you want to be a baby and act like football isn't about contact, then get off the field. If a defensive units can compile that many highlights in a season, much less one game, it's saying something. Don't be bitter about being defeated. It's okay. And one of the reasons UL jumped out to a big lead was the incorrect call of kicking Jimmy Williams
