  • this makes sense..i play AAU Basketball and im the starting shooting guard. This is somewhat related to what we do in practice...is what people call a jab step.but in pracitce we also use the pop back.....good video to learn how to create space when a defender is tight on you.

    at the end all this is just theory.

    in a game you have to make decisions within seconds and it comes down to instinct. train your instinct and just go out and shoot, shoot and shoot.

  • his footing is off, but good rotation and enough space to create a good jump shot. The one thing i do for my kids, is we work that fake jab step, and do the step backs.
