  • to much price

  • This thing is so cool! Kind of like a cheap convertible.

    BTW I ride a ZX-6

  • I just don't get it. This thing seems like it was made for people who want a bike but are too afraid or unskilled enough to get one.

  • @mtnlogistics It has nothing to do with being unskilled or scared to ride something on two wheels. Given the right (or wrong, however you may look at it) circumstances, anything that goes fast, regardless of number of wheels, can kill or seriously injure anyone. It has to do with appeal and looking outside the box for new designs. Everyone has opinions, some people like it and some people don't. I for one like it, not because I think it's safer or easier to ride, but because it looks sweet.

  • I don't care what braking safety features this trike comes with, three wheels = dangerous.

  • @smoothaIIoy

Look, this isn't a 3-wheel ATV from 1983. The lead wheels are doubled, not the rear wheels. You'll only encounter significant handling issues if you decide to drive the thing around the roads in reverse. You shouldn't make broad, sweeping comments about something you're ignorant about. I don't even like these silly things, but the BS surrounding them has gotten ridiculous.

  • @opmike343 I rode one and i wasn't comfortable. Sorry. lol

  • kinda awesome. for recreational and touring purposes. lol

  • so gay...

  • Triumph should build one of these around it Rocket 3 drive train.

  • Очень хорошо. Very goog!

  • looks pretty fun

  • poor aprilia engine i bet it feels violated inside that monster

  • How can a bike be gay if it attracts pussy

  • can kids ages 11 through 13 ride them

  • One thing I figured out is a lot of these roadster riders are disabled and hypersensitive to comments against the machines as it's something directed at them. Get over it folks! It's nothing personal.

  • I've seen a few of these on the road and read several of the comments posted here. You can't get a wheelie on one - but for riders like vets, mobility challenged or for those who don't wish for that sort of thing - who cares! You can't cut traffic or split lanes - just wait till that's illegal - IMO - add a rear axle to it and make it a quad - do Wheelies - powerslide sideways - jump the damn thing! Hell! ya can't split lanes.

  • @hatman231 So you mean that a car is gay?

  • How that saying go regarding fat chicks and mopeds? This applies.

  • I ride a Burgman 400 Scooter, which does about 95-100 mph and haters try to tell me I'm not really riding A BIKE. Even though I Have a motorcylce license and keep up with several friends on their motorcycles. I really like this. iT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU RIDE AS LONG AS UR HAVING FUN IN THE OPEN AIR.

  • These manage to combine the primary drawbacks of cars and motorcycles with none of their advantages.

  • @kqr573v2 Yes, I suppose to some people being in the wind is a drawback. Probably dont like those icky bugs plastering your face shield either do you?

  • @Winterstick549 Congrats. You managed to completely miss my point.

  • They already have motorcycles with 2 wheels on the back, this is just reversed. It is still a Motorcycle, yet it has more wheels. I bet you will try to say that the German cycles with the side car is not a motorcycle? LOL

  • Thats a really neat jetski.

    Were they out of Waverunners?

  • @cmonskippy I was just thinking it looked like a PWC too.

  • this is not a motorcycle.

    this is gay.

  • @BigCM06 Gay compared to what? Your little econo car? Your mini pickup? Your daddys oldsmobile?

  • I think its awesome and if the price point was more affordable youd be seeing a lot more on the road.

  • I love it, the ride is smooth

  • That thing is sick!

  • Its not a "motorcycle " experience. Once you get past "motorcycle" expectations and the fear it's going to tip, its much more fun than a two wheeler. It took a few hundred miles to retrain my expectations and trust the design but I'm so happy I did. It's too much fun !

  • I don't see why douchebags feel the need to slam something someone else thinks is neat and wants to ride, I am all for anything new and different that uses less gas than most of the cages people are driving around in...

  • These negative asshat "bikers", if like most, haven't ridden even 10k miles and should be ignored. I have bikes, cars and race quads, and like them all and I can see the appeal of this. I'd just rather see something made for performance that is lighter and with more power, and most of all four wheels. A TRX450R is 350#, I don't see any reason why a street version with a 180hp 1 liter bike engine would have to be over 450#s, assuming they ever make the push to legalize quads.

  • is gas mileage only 30 mpg with these?

  • Why so expensive? I could buy 2 good motorcycles, or 2 scooters and have change.

  • Just ride what makes you happy. And that top Comment about wheelie, those dudes can find me on Deals Gap on any Monday! I dont wheelie but you can try to follow me if you like.

  • @Uncrazamatic i would love to follow for a bit (ha ha) my comment was supporting him but unless u can lean it in a corner i dont think its "riding"one extra wheel in the front or back makes it no longer a "bike" .....my opinion

  • This is a very creative product. I notice how the promotional video makes an honest assessment of the Can-Am shortcomings. I think that is not necessary. This is a unique product and of course if what you want is a bike ten the Can-Am is not for you. It is expected to ride differently. Ride with more balance, confidence, security. Riding is about having fun bur most of all safety! Those that want the feel of a full size bike with reverse, 3 speed automatic bike check out waltersautomatic

  • it looks pretty badass. and very alternative.

  • I just talked with a salesperson about this exact bike as they have a used one there that's an '08 that has only 3,700 miles on it. The guy says he can get me out the door on it for around $14,000. But hearing in this clip that it sold in '08 for $15,000 makes me think it's not such a great deal after all. They sure do look fun though!

  • What's the point? Why 3 wheels over two or four?

  • @BullToTheShit right now it's more of an experimental concept. IT's supposed to fill the gap in between a motorcycle and a car. I think the short scissor two wheel idea is much better.

  • @BullToTheShit

You couldn't have said it any better.

It's fun to look at (in an artistic appreciation), but I myself would not think twice about purchasing that thing. It certainly lacks the thrill & danger of 2 wheels (OR) the comfort of AC in the winter & cozyness of a coupe full of friends.

  • @BullToTheShit because two wheels takes more riding skill trikes and fours arnt riding think about it do you ride a four wheel car or truck....no!those things are what the are but its just not riding even though you may ride on-it

  • they say u can get ur class 6 in one of these hahaha.... would be a cake walk

  • I have road dirtbikes...snowmobiles...and 4 wheelers all my life, I'm 65 now

with Arthritis in my hands and legs...thought my life was done...drove one of these!

Feel a new life commin on !!! I don't care if anyone laughs at me...I love it !

  • @1brentwood Hey Brentwood. Maybe the Can Am isnt quite as fun as most motorcycles, but it sure beats the pants off any car.

  • @1brentwood hey i think its awsome u found a way to keep rollin but their slogan is "re-invent riding" but its "driving" if its more than two wheels.if you have dirtbikes you know what i mean

  • @1brentwood Noone should laugh at you! The bike is awesome, and mostly awesome looking. I'd be proud to have one!

  • @1brentwood Its not really something to laugh about. ITS AWESOME!

  • @1brentwood These trikes are awesome - they get envious stares from everyone within a quarter mile radius, there are only 20+ of these in Singapore. For a safety-conscious country concerned about motorcycle accident rates the Spyder is pretty much perfect as a recreational vehicle and makes riding a lot more accessible to a wider audience.

Riding shotgun behind one of these on a 'normal' motorcycle is like cruising with a battleship. Who cares about the naysayers :)

  • @1brentwood I don't think anyone will be laughing, people are interested in anything new and geeky, check out the MP3 scooter, its a attention grabber.

  • @1brentwood Why would people laugh at this?

  • @1brentwood ride on man haha

  • I was at a motorcycle dealership in Clanton, Alabama and I saw a Spyder in their shop. I fell in love with it instantly...at least until I saw the price, LOL!!!

  • It does stand for Canadian American

  • It's French you idiot...bomb bar deeayyy

  • Isn't pronounced BOMB-a-deer? I don't remember a pilot saying: Pilot to BomBAR-D-eh?.....Its pilot to bombabdeer..come in bombadeer...open hanger doors..release payload.

  • @dburnhamd its french (french canadian i believe) cuz can am stands for canadian american. i think, dont quote me hahaha

  • 0:54 - "if you ignore the double-track front end." Pretty hard to ignore lol

  • I'd rather get a quadbike instead.

  • @ElevationLowJJ Good luck trying to drive the GG quad across state lines, The quad is not legal in most US states. If you enter a state it is not legal in it will be towed. .

  • Doesn't lean, therefore the fun of bikes is gone. Can't split lanes, can't fit in as tight of places, gets crap gas mileage, in full leathers you'd look retarded and in a t shirt youd look just as bad. I have two wheels for a reason, that being said the guy who has had a few surgeries or injuries this would be good for him. Not me

  • Will definitely pass this on to all my friends

  • for 1/5 the price you can get a used sportsbike that will out preform this in everyway including gas milage. only thing the spyder has is a reverse gear.

  • thenoblequran (Ctrl+Enter)

  • These things get roughly 20-25mpg. It is a ripoff do not buy!

  • This is not a review. It's an ad.

  • I will never understand why there's so much hate towards this vehicle. I love me some motorcycles. I think the new Kawasaki Z1000 is the shit. Speed, comfort, and power at an affordable price (no I`m not a salesman either just an enthusiast). I took out a Can Am Spyder and it`s an amazing experience. It is extremely stable, fast, and very easy to ride. The front suspension is basically the same as a car setup. The rear has a swing arm like a bike. The ride is somewhere in between the two.

  • @fasoho you can stomp on the brakes in a wet corner and you would stop on a dime. I love that about mine.

  • its a snomobile with wheels.

  • I've been riding for over forty years and am seriously considering giving one of these a test ride/drive. If for whatevery reason one of my rides got on its side, I could pick it up by myself. That includes my Goldwing and Electra-Glide. Now, after two shoulder surgeries and a hip replacement, wouldn't even try it. This my extend my riding pleasure. The pleasure is in the riding, not wearing macho looking m/c t-shirts.

  • this thing is on Just Cause 2! :D

  • They should also make a 4 wheel version.

  • @NWguy83 they do.

  • @istalir Not Can-Am.

  • I believe more people would get this if it weren't so expensive!

  • try filtering on that thing ;)

  • Is it manual shifting or automatic?

  • I GOT IT, HOW YOU CAN RUN ON AN RAIN, SO SIMPLE

  • would this bike make a good travel bike

  • @TheYouwillsuffer no that is why brp made the rt model

  • Comment removed

  • looks ridiculous

  • Looks like a jetsky with wheels!!!

  • Do you need a bikers liscense to drive this?

  • @RoughshodElm It depends on the state I hear in California and Canada you don't need a biker's DL. Hell in some states like mine in ILL the cops are not even sure what the law is

  • @101southsideboy Canada is not a state, it's a different country.

And you do need a motorcycle license in California.

  • @RoughshodElm - in states that require a M class for anything over 50cc, you need the M class License. :(

  • @RoughshodElm yea

  • My Friend Brandon has this exact model, only in yellow, and it is AMAZING! I just wish i had one :p

  • I am just amazed by some of these comments about disabled and war vets and retired bikers being able to get back into riding!

I have been riding for close to 40 yrs and I now own an sm5 rt Spyder and who need s a crouch rocket to have fun you guys are so blinkered you would not know a good thing if it was handed to you!

You do not understand what the Spyder is about get into the 21st centry dudes!

  • @PharQu what is the spider about? been driving for over twenty years, tried all kinds of bikes. crotch rocket is still my favorite. i own a gixxer 1000 cc 2008 and i really dont see the point if i cant lean into a curve with my knee dragging. after all, thats the difference between a motorcycle and everything else. the leaning into the curve and not outside of it.

does not mean its not fun, it means its not a motorcycle. you dont get 100% of that feeling.

  • when the spder rs came out I was excited but after a test drive I felt "nice try but not for me". The spyder Rt improved on everything I hated about the RS. The Rt is more a comfortable ride and it comes with more extras that I like the sound system and being able to pull a trailer which you can not do on a spyder rs.

  • @101southsideboy

There are plenty of spyder owners who tow a trailer with an RS.

  • try to do a wheelie

  • @iko155 wheelie? whats that?

  • cc ??

  • @iko155 try backing up on a 2 wheel. nerd.

  • Comment removed

  • @01sean i am not handycap however i know someone who is getting one of these because there handycapped. its nice of you to appoligize tho, appreciated.

  • Comment removed

  • Can you wheelie it?!

  • piaggio mp3 eat your heart out.

  • this bike gets the retired guys back on the road touring again.......especially the war vets

  • if it didn't look like a snowmobile i may be interested but ya um it does

  • I`ve had mine for two years, and i am loving it!

  • it almost looks like a T-rex

  • is it an auto or "stick"?

  • Great for disabled and retired folk.

  • @billyposter and millions of fat Americans...

  • my dad has one and the sound and purr of the rotax engine makes me fall asleep.

  • カッコ悪いから、目立つのは乗りたくないんだけど、こんな乗り物じゃないと乗れないんだよね。

  • I hate how these "reviews" are more like commercials than real reviews. Not my favorite channel.

  • wow I'm such a dumbass,,,,I thought these can am's were front wheel drive-until i saw the video

  • Looks really cool to try.

  • Looking for FREE Motorcycle Manuals? Download them here - ** freemotorcyclemanuals (dot) net **

  • It really needs a Hayabusa engine.

  • FYI Bombardier doesn't just make snowmobiles, it INVENTED the snowmobile

  • SWEET!!!!

  • and one thing the spider can do that no 2 weeled can is give back to the rider's who lets say lost a leg or unable to balance, my dad is looking at one and he needs two cains to walk thus stand up. great bike for injoying the moment.

  • This is for ppl that wanna ride but aren't comfortable on 2 wheels. I would pass on this.

  • I think it's kind of cool. Not exactly my style, but I wouldn't pass up a chance to ride one if it was offered.

  • how fast do they go?

  • tranny bike ?!

  • 20 grand for a slow wanna be bike ill pass.

  • umm 1) it's 15 grand, not 20, guy said so plainly in the video, you deaf or just plain stupid?

    2) they aint slow

  • 1.) You didn't include tax, title, and all the fees associated with this type of vehicle that makes it about 20 grand so maybe you are the stupid one?

2.) It is pathetically slow compared to a real bike.

  • @afcs09 100 horsepower and capable of 8500 rpms, could easily push you to 160 or more. Why would a hardcore cycleist who intends to go 200+ buy one of these? Honda civics built in the last five years have had less horsepower than that. Youre obviously either a poser, or living in your own little biker world where nothing counts but your wheels. Im no bike "guy" or anything, but if 50 horsepower can get you to 100+ on a sportster, then 100 isint that bad.

  • It's not trying to be a bike...it's a snowmobile for the street...totally different in every way

  • gay....

  • As a Can-am Spyder owner, this bike is great! I put road pegs on it to make the long rides easier. and i must say the girls love it!

  • As a Spyder owner, I must say it's great! I put road pegs on it. it makes the long rides easier and the girls love it.

  • I'd say thats a barrel of laughs! I'd love a go

  • 1:34 ive been there

  • HOT MACHINE

    I WANT ONE OF THOSE

  • I have never seen one of these on the road.

  • Does this have a clutch? Or is it "semi" manual?

  • i JUST GOT MNE TODAY FUCKING AWESOME I GOT UP TO 140 MPH

  • Well......i've had loads of bikes from old school Z1's, harley lowriders, road legal quads, and just sold my rocket 111...

I have owned an 08 can am for 6 months now.... and i'm having as much fun on this as all of my previous bikes..... so everyone who is slagging these 3 wheelers off...please go and test ride one to it's full potential and you will NOT be dissapointed.........dont get me wrong i will always have a bike as well...but this trike puts a grin on my face every time....Cheers.

  • it looks like fun to me!

  • i have to admit, in the ice and snow this would be the perfect thing...

came off my bike twice on the ice in the last couple of weeks. not very nice at all!

  • if you can't countersteer turn it, it's not a bike

  • fo sho

  • WELL THERE R PPL IN THIS WORLD THAT MAYBE DONT HAVE 2 WORKING LEGS FOR EXAMPLE DO YOU MEAN THEY R RETARDED CUZ OF THAT. i think its good more ppl get the chance to feel fre on the open roads

  • yes, I mean those who have two working legs. But those who don't , this would be a great motorcycle for them.

  • Better yet, lets get rid of 2 motorcycles and start riding motor powered Unicycles and show those bikers who the real men are???

  • nice one :D

  • @Lamaj96

Google "Penn Jillette rocket powered unicycle"

    ie, of Penn and Teller

    Hilarious true story

  • @Lamaj96 lmao

  • I think 2 wheel bikes are for people missing a screw in their head... or just cheap bastards. This bike would be a little bit more relaxing to ride in the snow. Oh and your stupid k thx bye

  • What market did they build these for? People without balance?

  • people that would like to ride year round in northern climates. Have you ever ridden in snow? not easy

  • @m9mentor, people ride these in snow? I'd be scared shitless of doing that.

  • no thanks

    ill take a Goldwing instead

  • la neta no hay como 2 ruedas

    jajaja

  • would this bike be safer to ride as well?

  • I am very impressed with some morons here, that didnt get the purpose of this bike.

Why do you have to race your ass off?cant you just

go on a cruising in a nice day and enjoy it as well.

  • Man, I am sooo much with you on that one. I would recommend the Spyder RT for that purpose though.

  • @cemmas I'd buy a harley and be 1000 times cooler compared to one of these.. THINGS!

  • @cemmas lol i would never ride a two wheeler, this thing is nice, safe, and fun

  • @cemmas definitely agree... those morons are the ones who end up dead in the ditches

  • @cemmas not with that kind of money

  • I could see this more for the old crowd or use in areas with more rain.

  • obliviously you cant see a shit

  • All I'm saying is if you want to cruise a Kawi Concourse is cheaper and you don't loose the essence of a motorcycle. But if you're older with balance and strength issues a Spyder is perfect for you. So shut you're mouth you cum guzzling prick. I hope you get aids and all your children are born inside out.

  • lmfao "cum guzzling" is hilarious
