hi,i have a traxxas slash 4x4 brushless,and my stock batt is NImh 8.4v,3000 mah..im thinking of buying a 11.1v 5000mah lipo battery

is that ok for the motor?or it wont damage my esc? tnx!

The front and rear diffs are not locked,these come with a slipper clutch in the center but the slash 4x4 pe comes with a extra fluid center diff and the stock slipper installed.

@charlie1989adamski The the slash 4x4 rtr's like in the video come with painted bodys. The slash platinum edition comes with the same body but its clear and you paint it yourself.

Yes both trucks are 4wd,I ended up getting a slash 4x4 platinum edition.. i'll have more videos of mine and other slash 4x4s when i can make it to the track again.

i know u sed u need to see it but if it helps i was racing my slash 4x4 (1/10) in a parking lot and it handles great. as long you give it more throttle going fast into a turn or else ull flip.

@krookedKiller13 true. they look as if they will easily flip if your turn them too hard. was wondering if i should get the vorza from hpi or this 4x4 slash. leaning towards the vorza after seeing this video

The Tamiya connector would melt with the amps it will draw. Tamiya plugs need to be cut off and burnt.

@manuel5845 lol there is just one version and yes, its brushless. You can use the plug what you want if you know how to solder it, I dont recommend using tamiya plugs nevermore, they are old and have crap powerflow so could overheat the battery

the drivers need to stay on the gas in the air thats why they nosing down

You gas it right before lift off if you gas it in the air you will strip the gears

Actually Traxxas very carefully considered the design and setup for the best possible performance while still returning the best appearance as to look like a racing truck would look taking a bump, jump, or turn.

It was probally the best spot to get a decent shot of the track without being inside the track,the video got a little bumpy with that dude with the giant tripod and others walking past. It will be cool to get video of these at the local track when they get to the shops!
