  • due to cards like the gtx590 and 1024 cores, is there a limitation to the amount of cards/cores that cna be used with this?

  • Comment removed

  • Here is some constructive feedback, don't release graphics drivers saying the improve your game by 11% when all they do is make the problems worse

  • im dng animation so gt to do wid photoshop nd later on 3d maya.....so im plannin for alinware m17x with gtx 560 card 1.5 gb... will dat b gud ?

  • Will this work for PSE?

  • nice done nvidia..

i have a gtx 260m in my notebook and a gtx 480 in my home pc..

my father have a 5850 (i can compare) and i would always choose nvidia.

    :D

  • Does it gonna be available in Mac OS?

  • im more interested in testing out that plug in, could stream line a lot of editing

  • I'm rockin' 2 EVGA GTX 460 1GB in SLI on PS CS5 and it's amazing how fast the processing is over my old 9600 GSO SLI setup! You rock Nvidia!

  • WE LOVE NVIDIA!!! haha

  • @nvidia Can the CUDA cores do the job faster then I7 990X?

  • @tazss159 Do u even have a i7 990x? O_O + If u have the money for a 990x.. u can have the money for the GTX580 i am sure of that.. and if so why not share the workload to the 580 instead of tiring the 990x...

  • @kknight96 My question was "Can the CUDA cores do this job faster then a Core i7 990X? And no, computer chips can't get "tired"... they're non living things...

  • @tazss159 Well my bad.. u saying that CPU's can't die? O_O LOL! Their electronics stuff.. course they have a time when they stop working. + Sharing the workload is better letting the cpu focusing more on one thing...

but soz i was just trying to help.. i was mistaken.. but thing is.. i dunno but a GTX 590 has 1024 cuda cores i think... But if ur just wanting a 990x and a mobo with some ram etc etc without a graphics card is sorta a bad choice in my opinion.... I'd rather a 990x with a gpu

  • @kknight96 So can you use the GPU (like for example a GTX 580) for things like encoding a video? Can you use a GTX 580 for things that are normally left for a CPU to do?

  • @tazss159 Obvious a GPU doesn't do what a CPU does.. though now ur acting so up of urself.. sigh people over the net these days don't appreciate it when people try and help but instead think they know everything else.. If you know so much.. u should know the answer to "Is a i7 990x faster than the Nvidia graphics Cuda cores which help accelerate processes...."....

  • @kknight96 I'm not being offensive or rude to you in any way... what made you think that?

And I'm guessing a 990X is far faster then Nvidia's GPU's at video encoding..

  • @tazss159 Well i think so as well. You planning to get one? O_O I wish i had one D:!

  • @kknight96 :D

  • @tazss159 I guess ur lucky, though now i think of it.. i think i can actually get one if i wanted too.. though i wouldn't make much use of it :D!

  • @kknight96 ;)

  • How come they don't tell you the cpu name in the end for nvidia? Nvidia is cheaters

  • @okko321 They do, @1:28. Reading is fundamental :)

  • @okko321 actually the GPU itself acts as a CPU thats why there is no CPU listed

  • Does anybody know of a Codec/Plug in to be able to watch Youtube in 1080p with a Pentium 4 -3.0 and a gtx 220? It's Very Choppy , I Need something that will transfer the Re-Coding of the Stream to the Video Card , ...It's For a 3rd Computer ,So Please don't tell me to buy Something better , I already Own better ,thanks...

  • @mrjamesb562 Flash 10.1

  • @zembryoz -Yeah , I found it ,It Works Great!...

  • Nvidia ftw

i love it and i have only nvidia cards and intel cpu's

the i7 are the best cpu's ever

  • wow and with a GT 240

cant wait to see what my GTX 260 can do

  • Gpu On image is blurry Gpu off image is more sharpen.. check it out guys!

  • it's funny how I'm subscribed to nvidia but not to ati even when my GPU is ati's

  • Sweet! Now how about Adobe Premiere Pro...for the guys who DON'T own a Quadro series GPU...pretty please?

  • can u do this stuff with g210

  • GT240 already boost So FAST~~~

  • Why are the pictures different? The old lady on the left image at 0:45 has more wrinkles than the old lady on the right image. Interesting?

  • @GeekingForJesus thats right ! , check the image difference . Nvidia is cheating again.

  • @3dkiller R guys kidding me? Those are the same image and the one used CUDA BECAME different at 0:45 because it was done saving while the one on the left was still on the process of being saved, therefore it hasnt become different.

  • @GeekingForJesus Because that's the result after being saved, the image on the left was done saving while the one on the right was still on the saving process. Before neither of them was done (at 0:35), they're the same, the old lady has the same amount of wrinkles on two images.

  • @growingup2204 Yep. You're right. I don't know why it blurred though.

  • @GeekingForJesus

    Read the description:

"Beauty Box lets you easily smooth wrinkles"

Obviously if this plug in is for smoothing wrinkles then there would be less of them

  • good nvidia cuda

  • nvidia already said that ati could get cuda if it wants

but ATi is so high and might for that

damn come on ati my laptop is useless i have to rely on my cpu all the time

  • Those latest test that nvidia ara making ara a bit odd. First the test with diferents netbooks, one using ion and other without it. The one with ion was fast but had the theme disabled (using old win 98 theme). And now, this test have diferent images depending if you are using CPU or GPU -.-. Shouldnt be the same image? If depending what are you using (cpu or gpu) the image changes, where its the advantages on that for designers who need see the EXACT image always?. BTW Im with nvidia but...

  • AMD has ATi Stream Technology.

  • @Jefneurotoxin Which is much slower than CUDA and support significant nothing on the market... hooray.

  • @SonsOfHateSphere

lol u summed it up quite well

  • @SonsOfHateSphere :L... Nvidia fanboy.. I got a nvidia and i got a AMD/ATI... thing is.. i'm more for price-performance ratio... AMD= Eyefinity... Nvidia= Cuda, Physx, 3D Vision... AKA... AMD= Tri monitor hardcore enthusiast setup and Nvidia= Graphics editors (video/photoshop etc)... :D

    No#1 Card ATM =... 6990 ... GG!

  • @kknight96 Sir, you are right, but 9 months late...

  • @SonsOfHateSphere

    :L Meh :D!

  • @Jefneurotoxin nothing supports stream as far as i know and not many devs are moving to that , not sure why but cuda is what the market wants

  • what this means is for somebody to go and do an indepent vid

  • It look like its got more detail on the left then the right

  • @BradleyDUKOfficial Yeah i noticed with the granny pic as well. You can see her wrinkles on the left and the face on the right was smudged

  • @BradleyDUKOfficial Good catch. I see it too.

  • @BradleyDUKOfficial but then at 1:42 theres far greater details here.

  • @BradleyDUKOfficial Try looking up what the plugin does before you make silly statements. It's an image smoothing plugin, of course the slower non GPU driven rendition will be more wrinkly, it hasn't completed the smoothing process yet.

  • Only 240GT and sooo fast...???

I wonder what will hapend with FERMI...??? !!!

  • @SpiderUTP ill check brb haha i got the GTX470

i have Photoshop CS4 so what exactly do i choose for it to do the process thingy?

  • @SpiderUTP it has 2 gigs of ram so

  • @benderinn333

Yes, second set has the same amount of ram...

FERMI has 1,5DDR5@480GTX; that will be killer... ;-)

  • hm lol

  • Not first! dump on ppl.. ;p
