I'm starting to NOT think this is a hoax. More and more people are hearing these noises all over the world. All videos have a similar noise, but are all very different. Also it's not as easy as some people think to fake audio. I have listened to this video and many others a few times over and there is no blatant sign of audio editing in any of them. It's strange to say the least.
