I just got a 710..and the action is NOWHERE near that smooth/silky/fast. How long have you had that knife and did you loosen the pivot screw any? Will that action come with time/use?
I find mine is much more natural to open when I push forward instead of out on the stud, but then again, I've discovered the 'Axis flick' as you have.
Thanks guys. I like the "BenchKoat" coating a lot better than I thought I would. I bought it expecting it to scratch or wear easier than it has. So far its just scuffed a little and that doesn't bug me. Its a knife, it does its best work when its dirty. :)
love it every one seer's you can't open a 710 with gloves great vid

Yup... The 710 is a SWEET knife. I had one in plain edge D2 uncoated, but sold it. I really want one again though :)

@henfrys101
It was a little stiff when I first got mine two. I adjusted the pivot slightly, very slightly.
Lubed it, and it is what it is.

@DasBulk Thanks for that - what lube do you use? I got a bottle of miltec, but I'm worried about it being a little liquidy for edc

@henfrys101 Usually Tuff Glide.

Action is FAST - is this example assisted?

Nope. I don't think BM produced an assisted knife before the Barrage. I could be wrong though.

@DasBulk The was tow of these models the first one was assisted opening like a speed safe [auto]. It was the Benchmade 860 Bedlam
