Same argument could be used for ryoko or washu. Ayeka is starved for intimacy and simple romance in a world of ritual and responsibility. She is also the most likely to be the most generous lover of the three (with the possible exception of Tsunami/Sasami).

Ryoko and Washu are simply too selfish to be great lovers.

However, i dont remember if its this one, or Tenchi Muyo! but Ayeka and Tenchi actually know each other form his past. he like lost his memory or something like that. So he reimagined the series with the same characters, but switched them around with a new plot. In this incarnation, Ryoko and Tenchi meet only for the first time in the first episode; and she is smitten with him from the start, whereas in Tenchi Muyo, she wanted to kill him at first.

This is way better then all of the other series imo. I think its easily got the best story line. OVA's story line is too broad and after episode 13 the entire series made a very obvious downfall. Tenchi in Tokyo was too cartoony fer me as well. I like that this series is more serious like than the other series. plus Ryoko is by far the most important character in this series where she was kinda laid off in all the other series and im a Ryoko fan so lol...

Plus, Ayeka really isn't all that bad, especially when compared to Ryoko. At least Ayeka has some self-control and dignity around Tenchi, and I think she's much prettier than Ryoko. If Sasami were older (Tenchi Muyo!, episode 4 I believe), then we'll talk. Otherwise, like I said, it's a pointless argument.
