All I remember of this ride is is I was in it with a couple, and the couples like were not gonna scream ok, well i was 12 then

I miss it at Cedar Point as well. For those of you who want to send a msg to Cedar Point, I started a Facebook page called "Demon Drop Belongs at Cedar Point". I heard a lot of complaints of ppl missing the ride. They probably won't bring the original back, but perhaps if enough ppl express their love of the ride, they'll build a new version of the ride with 2011 technology bigger and better than the original at Cedar Point.

@weirdone17 I know. They moved it to Dorney Park in Allentown PA. I live close to Dorney so I've been on it. It is fun but compared to the drop tower at dorney it is nothing. I wished it stayed at Cedar Point because Dorney keeps getting old rides from other parks. I wish they get a new ride soon.

YES THIS RIDE IS STILL AT CEDAR POINT AS OF 9/25/09! To me, it's the most scariest. I've been on almost all of cedar point's roller coasters but The Demon Drop is scary but awesome!

I LOVE all the first generation freefalls! Anybody who also loves this ride should contact Cedar Point and urge them to not remove it. There's only 2 left now in the entire country!

The two that are left are at Cedar Point and Magic Mountain, and they were both listed for sale last year. Wildcatter at Six Flags over Texas was just torn down this month, which only leaves 2 in this country and 1 in Japan. I don't know of any others anywhere else in the world.

I always liked to put a dime or quarter on my knee when at the top. When you drop the dime hovers at eye level until you get to the ground. Stupid I know, but kind of cool at the time.

I remember riding on this when it first opened back in 1983. There was a similar ride at Six Flags Great America called "The Edge" which malfunctioned and severely injured four teenagers. It was finally removed in 1986.
