The start gave me an impression of Miku/Luka with Gumi mix but around 4:00 her voice became very distinct as IA.

Better than Gumi IMO. Miku has her own unique voice and there is always something about Miku's voice. Miku voice is more like cute anime/game character voice while IA is more realistic

What's with comparing her voice with the other Vocaloids? There will be a time that other Vocaloid's pitches coincide with the others. Voice ranges are limited to soprano, mezzo-soprano and contralto for girls while bass, baritone and tenor for guys so, expect that their voices sound alike. How do you think a choir works? The difference is on the voice traits on each Vocaloid. Even an amateur can tell who's who because of that fact.

According to my sources, she is not even supposed to be released. I am ever so happy that this has been revealed; she sounds like something one would imagine an angel sounding like. Better than all her former voicebanks, clearer and more pure, we can only welcome her into the family - and appreciate Lia's efforts.

People need to realize that even real people don't sound THAT different from each other. Most girls with certain vocal ranges tend to have similar notes/sounds to other girls with that same vocal range.

That being said, I'm very glad IA seems to have a cute blend of higher and lower notes in her voice. I think this pv is my favorite of all of hers so far.

@Alvinloser1 I think not. Actually, all the new V3 vocaloids sound pretty much unique to me, especially Mew, Aoki, and IA. It'd be a shame if they were similar to Miku. After all, this is V3 we're talking about.

At times she may sound like Luka or Miku but.. I don't understand, it /is/ unique despite the similarities. I can hear a distinct voice that I'm not familiar of.. which means it really is a different voice. Blah, what am I saying? /slaps self.

Anyhoo, it's a very nice and calming song - gives me a fleeting feeling.. and that's a good thing. (It reminds me of Legend of Mana for some reason) I'm also impressed that there's already a PV song. All in all, I can't wait for more of IA's songs. c:
