Ridiculous why pay so much for that Aftermarket when you can get a GPS that's cheaper then that mirror unit & if you want to talk to someone you got your phone/smartphone & your bluetooth headset.

@halophoenix This OnStar mirror will not unlock doors, turn on the car, or stop the car when it's stolen due to it's limitations. It will only have the basic safety features of it (ie. emergency crash response, stolen vehicle locator, roadside assistance, and turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth).

@djtarique Smh, if you don't like it don't get it no reason to be fighting over it. It's like saying Ford Sync is a joke, I can plug in my iPod into the aux and listen to it there.

Paying that much to remotely unlock your door? Maybe you shouldn't lose your keys. I'm not knocking Onstar, it's just over priced and a cellphone can talk to you and give you better turn by turn directions

@djtarique a smart phone won't unlock your doors if you've locked your keys in. Or start the car for you. Or stop the car when it's been stolen so police can retrieve it.Or alert police and ambulances when you've been in a crash. Should I go on?

There's no guarantee those features will be available in this aftermarket kit, but I hope they are.
