I like the minstrel class. It's just the whole screaming and running that looks odd.

Right before MoM came out, I made a creep (defiler) to get destiny points for my main. I had no creeps before; took about 2 weeks to get to rank 5 signature, and after buying everything for the creep that was available still netted about +200k. You can make around 20-30K/day on creep side by flipping keeps and doing certain quests (while getting 4-5 good maps).

Compare this to:Levelling an alt gives you 8200DP from lvl 1 to 50.

The problem now after MoM is that freeps aint taking keeps anymore, and even the outposts seem to be constantly under creep controll. I know about killing First-Marshal An and the Ost Ringdyr, but its hardly of no worth, any suggestion on other qsts? :/

for a beginner I'd say hunter or guardian. guard got high protect and is easy to tank with.

hunter got high dps, and that makes soloing easier/faster.

Well, in groups it all depends on the situation and setup of FS and that's what makes Minstrels so fun to to play, like last night in FT (my first time in there, actually), me lvl 60 minstrel and one lvl 54 minstrel, both started healing at first of course but it was overkill so it was better that I (equiped with lvl 60 skill Call to Fate) turned Warspeech on and joined in on the clobbering of orcs and spirits instead :)

Matobi, IMHO (played a minstrel for about half a year now) minstrel is very fun to play. Since Mines of Moria though the fun has kind of gone away - we're a lot weaker etc. But anyways, in groups it quite differs. If you have a good group with some off-healing, you can use your damaging skills etc, but if you're in a basic group with less experienced players etc, you'll have to spam heals probably... :)

cool, i have a question, is minstrel a fun class to play? im going to start playing soon, and iv been keeping track of the game since release going on the forums about once a week.

and iv seen on the minstrel forums that minstrels have been nerfed alot.

what race is best for them?

and in grups do they just sit back and heal or can they do other things? what?
