How nice to call him a clown several years after he was killed. He didn't have much talent; he did what he had to do, fight for his team in an era when it was tougher than the plastic NHL of today. Bet you didn't know that he blocked a shot of Brad Park's by his own mouth in 73 playoffs? How many of our wonder boys of today would do that? There's a story that's well known now. The previous year of this video Orr fought Magnuson and whipped his ass. Magnuson thought he was tough, but spent the summer taking boxing lessons to fight Orr the next season. The next season Orr whipped his ass again!

@AngeloVar You gave a good answer to your own question. The Oilers won the Stanley Cup 2 Years after Gretzky was gone from Edmonton. The Bruins have not won the Stanley Cup since 1972 and if they never had Bobby Orr it would be a lot longer.

Put Bobby Orr on those teams with the same players that Gretzky played with and Orr would have been on more Stanlery Cup winners.

Only player to win hart, art ross, con smyth, and norris trophy in same year. he could rush the puck like no one else. gretzky may have been the best scorer but orr was the best player period.
