No... Horner did NOT get the pin.. the referee counted 2 then stopped when he saw Hawk enter ring..... Looks to me like the time limit expired.. as the referee never called for the bell

@speedbuggy Horner was a little man in a big mans game back then - but would have flourished if the cruiserweight division was around in the 80's (I'm not counting NWA's Jr. Heavyweight Title).

this was when the Paul Ellering was managing many more cats in the LOD. wish he wouldve continued that tradition in the AWA and back 2 the NWA. wouldve been interesting 2 c him manages cats like maybe Butch Reed,Abdullah,Stan Hansen,Sting,Lex Luger,Dick Murdoch,Buddy Landell,The Warlord,Steve Williams,etc along with the warriors. 10 star match here GCW at its finest. Always fun to watch two powerful and rugged beasts like Hawk and Animal beat people up. Look at the power of Animal at 2:35 He picks the dude up and slams him down with one arm. Awesome power!

I think I remember at one time the Legion of Doom being the Road Warriors, Jake, Spoiler, maybe Iron Sheik and the Sheik, and Bundy being in then out?? Maybe even Buzz Sawyer???, I was only like 9 or 10 when this was going on.

I remember an interview w/ the LOD and Gordon Solie brought up the subject of Bundy joining the LOD. Paul Ellering chastened Solie, saying he had thought of Solie as an intelligent individual. He went on to say that acquiring Bundy would be an unwise move, as the LOD would go broke trying to feed him. Bundy heard this and enraged, charged out from the locker room.

I have searching for this match for years! I remember when this tag team match took place on World Championship Wrestling. This happened shortly after Ron Garvin regained his TV title from Jake The Snake Roberts, and after Tim Horner defeated Road Warrior Hawk in that tournament match for the NWA heavyweight title held by then champion Ric Flair. As you can see, the crows went absolutely wild during the entire duration of the match. Awesome Georgia Championship Wrestling at its best!

this was when the legion of doom was more than just the road warriors at the begining of there careers. This match came about actually because bundy was going to become a member but the road warriors balked and made fun of bundy and disrepected him and forced a story change as bundy didnt want to work with them just against them. 1 of the few times he was a babyface.
