Since the work of salvation has been completed by Jesus Christ, the sacrifices it describes are no longer necessary, since they only served to illustrate the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, i.e. his death on the cross and subsequent resurrection. You need to see the overall picture of the Bible. Why not read it? Invest in a good Study Bible. Bullinger is best, but Macarthur is OK too.

death is defined as the loss of brainfunction (thats what the doctors told me anyways), and we know that the brain is the source of contiousness (if you dont believe me, try drinking a bottle of scotch) so if the brain stops working we are not contious anymore, and for life, you kinda need to be contious. hence, until further evidence, there's no need be believe in an afterlife.

Repentance is also required for salvation, and repentance (turning away from sin) can only be understood if sin is defined and understood.

It is somewhat more complex than that. The Bible is unreasonable to the natural man, but becomes reasonable to the "born-again" Christian, since the Bible is only understood by the born-again spirit. It is written:
John 3:5-6 "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."
The spiritual rebirth is done by God.

I am not trying to prove the existence of God. Yes, I communicate in a way that assumes the existence of God. Leviticus has many important lessons about the nature and characteristics of God, so God ahead and quote from there, and it will be an interesting Bible lesson. I am not trying to convert you, just communicating the Gospel in obedience to God (Matthew 28). The process is not intellectual through human effort, but is a free gift from God.

No, of course not. Jesus Christ died on the cross and therefore paid for the sins of all those who would believe in Him and repent of their sins. So animal sacrifices are not needed since AD33. The Jewish temple was destroyed soon after (AD70) so animal sacrifices are not possible anymore.
The penalty for any sin is death. I am sure you noticed that everyone dies eventually, right?

Leviticus is full of divine wisdom, as it illustrates the legal basis of salvation. Since the work of salvation has been completed by Jesus Christ, the sacrifices it describes are no longer necessary, since they only served to illustrate the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, i.e. his death on the cross and subsequent resurrection. You need to see the overall picture of the Bible. Why not read it? Invest in a good Study Bible. Bullinger is best, but Macarthur is OK too.

Let me explain. Since you require argument, that makes your requirement the same as the "Greek" according to the verse (who require "wisdom", or philosophical argument). The verse says that all arguments will appear "foolish" to you, unless you are "called" (converted) by God.
