  • That K241 is definitely points. You can see the points cover to the right of the PTO at 7:47. They made the C-101's in 1978-79 only and was replaced by the C-105, but essentialy the same. I have two of them, lol!

You may want to tell your customer to have his front bearings checked and spindles. Right as you were starting it up at 8:32, before it ran away, you could see the tractor move back and forth a little bit, but the tire didnt move, so it may be wallowed out and getting ready to break.

  • @Pocketraisins Thanks, Ill pass that onto him, didn't notice that before.

  • Oh well. For a minute I thought someone gave you guys that; didn't realize it was a customer's. Nice tractor though. Like the Kohler.

  • Very nice, Dave.

  • gohst ridin

  • The WH tractors of this vintage had tough gearboxes. The hydro models were strong, too.

  • those k series engines were some of the best garden tractor engines ever made

  • 4:06 , TOTAL WIN

  • LOL....I'm gonna sure bring things to you for repair...first there's a fire, then you almost had a runaway....:-)

  • Wheel Horses were beasts. Its interesting they used that similar design from like the 1960s up until around 2007. Its a shame they don't make their good tractors anymore, just the rebadged MTD garbage. The only good Garden Tractors left anymore are John Deere, Simplicity, and Kubota.

  • nice tractor! we made a racer out of one very similar to this goes pretty good!

    great built tractors
