My take= a bit of both. Even if delonte slammed lebrons mom he was the only guard they had that can guard rondo some. I would have put him in if I were coach. Why wasn't he played? Bc lebrons mom was slammed and mike brown didn't want to piss lebron off and throw his game off even more. That tells me lebron was the coach period. Mike had little power in that situation.

The straw that IMO deemed mike brown fired was in the celts series when instead of playing delonte after game 4 he decided to put in DANIEL GIBSON to guard rondo... There are 2 reasons for this. 1-delonte in fact slammed lebrons mom and he didn't want to lose chemistry. 2-mike brown is the worst adjustments coach in the NBA.

We all know lebron was the real coach on the team. The celtics series and magic series are prime examples. Mike brown couldn't coach a turtle into water. Mike browns offense= halfcourt, give the ball to lebron and get the fuck out of the way. he didn't know how to make adjustments from game to game and on top of that was double burned when rondo Allen and Garnett owned mo Jamison and Parker.

My impression of Mike Brown and Lebron is that Lebron James is Brown's super Pokemon.That said he's a sorry coach.He relies on Lebron that's his plan.
