HEY GUYS! I AM PUTTING AN ORDER TOGETHER SOON. SO I NEED ALL INDIVIDUAL AND BULK ORDERS IN BY NO LATER THAN MONDAY, OCTOBER 17TH, 2011. THIS MAY BE MY LAST ORDER UNLESS I GET MORE INTEREST, SO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT.
would you recommend this pen for taking notes for math class? It would be nice to not have to take paper-notebook. how big is the screen your writing on 17 inches? My computer slant to a good angle for writing. Im just kinda worried I wont be able to take notes well with this pen due to poor functionality or inability to write small enough or w/e reason. just wanted your input. what u think?
I used it in a couple of my classes and it works great for notes. The responsiveness is outstanding for the price, I was amazed with mine. I did notice that in really loud environments, it gets a little jittery since one of the sensors is an ultrasonic sensor. That is the only downfall I found.
@swooosh9 Hey, it's been a while since i have contacted the manufacturer but i may still be able to get some. But since i get them directly from the manufacturer, i have to order them in bulk to get that price. I at least need to order 5 at a time. Also i have to take payment before ordering so that i know that when i order them, the sale won't fail and i end up stuck with 5 pens. If you can get 3 or 4 other people that will want them, let me know and i can order them for you.
@silleren Sorry for the late post. Haven't checked this in a while. It is nice to draw with and very accurate. It works with every screen as long as you have a USB port. It relies on the sensor that attaches to your laptop. It works on screens up to 17". Much bigger than 17", the distortion in the sensor signals gets sketchy. But in the video I use it from corner to corner of my old 17.1" screen.
it is only rated up to 15.1" but I don't have any problems on my 17.1" screen. It goes from corner to corner easily. It does not have pressure sensitivity.
How long does the pen batteries last for? This seems to be a big issue with this type of gadget. I am a teacher and would want quite a bit of life out of the pen.
sorry for the late response but for some reason i couldn't access this account for a while. To answer your question, the batteries last fairly long, i think i changed mine twice over the course of two semesters. You would be using it more than me so maybe twice per semester for you to change the batteries in the pen. The sensor is plugged in via usb to the computer so it does not require batteries.
i sent you a private message about a month ago you never got back to me

@swooosh9 or if you want, you can order 4 or 5 pens and then sell them for $100 easy to other people. Upon demonstration, these pens sell themselves.

do you know if it works on mac?
rab236 1 year ago
@rab236
Well, yes and no. It works on a Mac if you run it under a Windows emulator, i.e. Bootcamp. But it does not work on the Mac OS.
