Christ, at 5:18, you can really see the size of Javier's legs. That man is an 'effing beast. I'm pretty sure I'd be terrified of these men if I ever met them in real life. I don't mean that in a bad way.
Oh, and about the "mysterious bulge", I had the DVD, and on my big screen, it's more then obvious that they are going commando. Which is just epic. XD I pretty sure underwear would get all bunched in all the wrong places doing this, anyway.

I'm 13 and I have had stage training for about seven years... I f you look at about 7:27 he is really concentrating on that note which is pretty hard to reach, my voice has broken and i can hit it it's just sustaining it is the hard part...

He didn't cause trouble. He just couldn't do it. The others did this a long time, but he had to learn it in eight months. He couldn't learn it, and he got frustrated, but who wouldn't?
thats why the pairs or the double malepairs are brothers, because of the whole trust factor, because trhey grew up together, they have that huge trust factor.. just like w/ the aerial straps.....

Man, I remember the first time I saw this years ago! All of us in the audience were like, "What??? Since when is this POSSIBLE?!" It's one of the acts I remember the most--like the ending. They are PHENOMENAL!!! These are the twins, right? I love the costumes. And, yes, they are cute. :] Talented, though...wow...
By the way, does anyone know when both men on top are spinning around at the same time, and one continues on longer than the other, was that intentional? Or did he just decide he could keep going for longer? Whichever one, all perfromers and especxially musicians kept in time beautifully!
Hahaha....the strong guy on the bottom near the front of the stage looks so feirce and angry! He's just glaring at everyone lol. They're hot though ;) I like their costumes hehe. And the singer is great! I couldn't believe that was him making that really low, almost mechanical noise!

Actually, from reading the program (which tells you Varekai means "Wherever" in Romany (the language of Rumania)), I think the whole of Varekai is in Romany... I don't think Cirque have ever used a make-believe language, except for the speech. All the songs are in different languages.
It's true that some songs (especially in Alegria) are entirely based on existing languages, however, Cirque usually mix words from different languages with invented ones.
Doesn't just listning to the music relax the senses. I love it not just for the stunts, but for the incredible music, even if I don't quite understand what language they speak in.

Actually, from reading the program (which tells you Varekai means "Wherever" in Romany (the language of Rumania)), I think the whole of Varekai is in Romany... I don't think Cirque have ever used a make-believe language, except for the speech. All the songs are in different languages.

It's true that some songs (especially in Alegria) are entirely based on existing languages, however, Cirque usually mix words from different languages with invented ones.

Yes, they call that language 'Cirquish'
The song with most songs in actual languages is indeed Alegria, though alot of shows have one song in a real language in it.
