@precious31494 actually the whole band has to wear the bookbag at practice.. but for crabs it's mandatory. The bands capes are heavy. The bookbag acts as a "weight" replacement..lol the auxiliaries dont necessarily wear capes but because the band does it, they have to as well.

The Motion never has & will never look like this in an actual performance, I think they know better than that. Also the captain is indeed a GREAT dancer, she sets the field on fire!!
