hahaha, this song was my 16-19 period. at 25 very cool to sit back and reflect. Brand New, TBS, The Used, Thrice, and hundreds more bands saved me from being a very down, bitter young man. It's funny the way "Emo" kids were percieved back then. I never wore much black. I used music like this more as a realisation that i wasnt the only one in the world feeling shit or hurt because of girls. Yes, the "Scenester" appeared and all of a sudden if you didnt wear girls jeans and a headband you sucked..

The idea of "this is what I'm supposed to, this is what everybody tells me I'm supposed to do, why does it feel so weird?" Fantastic wordplay that actually tells a story, very rare amongst the years of autotune and crap pop
