This is a great video, really gets the point. I've seen a lot of ignorant comments and misconceptions about eating disorders that just annoy me. You do NOT have to be super skinny to have an eating disorder, especially bulimia. And it's not just about not being able to control what we eat.

I have an eating disorder and hun i started when i was ten and am 45 now and its a struggle EVERY DAY! Its not about body image its about control and then body image! I love how the comments seemed to have become a debate over how skinny one has to be to be diagnosed with an eating disorder. I'm perfectly healthy, active, and happy. Everyone's got their own "happy" weight. Forcing it below that point is going against nature. At the time of the video assignment, I was ready to put this era to rest.

We just set up the camera above the atrium and in the corner of the post office and hit record. I had to stay super still hoping no one would notice this odd girl just standing there haha. Good question!

I dont wanna kill the mood but in the movie, you didnt eat a thing. bulimics are binge eaters that purge someway after eating, either through throwing up, laxitives, or working out. But this is def a great movie, its more anorexia than bulimia. still KUDOS! (btw, you can beanorexic without being scary skinny)

@rice1213 no, actually to be anorexic, you have to be "scary skinny". one of the diagnosis requirements for anorexia is being underweight to the point where you miss your period for three months in a row. You can display some symptoms of anorexia without being anorexic, in which case you would have EDNOS (Eating disorder not otherwise specified)

How artistic, a close up shot of me chewing a sandwhich or a doughnut...? I wanted to be a little more subtle and tell the story from my perspective. Everyone will interpret it differently, but one of the video tags is bulemia, so that should have been the more obvious hint.

There are a lot of people with eating disorders who aren't, but they get neglected from most of the videos because it's not obvious that they have an eating disorder.
