This song is so powerful it fills me with nostalgia of a time I'm too young to remember :\ in fact, all the tracks off Middle of Nowhere do. I barely remember 1997 (first year of pre-school, loved rugrats and animaniacs, Spice Girls freaked me out, blah blah, blah) but these songs just make me miss it as if it'd been the best year of my life o_o. That's just how powerful they are.

@Luqman311 This track was released on one of their singles for 'Weird' as a B-Side. Might have been an Australian only release. The cover is a blue cardboard one. Might help if you wanna try and search for it on eBay or something like that?

Hmm, never heard this version before, but is this the Desmond Child Mix? Because of it is, I'd be surprised that he would mix the song like this, there's too much in it. Of course, I'd love to hear this song with the mastermind of this song, Desmond Child singing it by himself. He is known to do that when he speaks at events, he plays the song on piano and sings it. This was his favorite song he ever wrote. It means the most to him.
