great job with those patches. so, if i understand, you fed the mw into the audio in on the xtk to apply fx? i have been reading much about wt synthesis lately and experimenting heavily with a blofeld. i very much like the creamy filter characters incl ppg lp model and brilliance feature to give mw sheen to waves. nice with new wt start position mod destination after last update. excellent synth for this price. encoder input a bit buggy. but the sound it CAN achieve makes this a fine addition to
i just bought this for 180 dollars local. The cause of the cheap price was because of the encoders where skipping counts and it was hard as hell to program a patch. so i decided to open it up and look at it. i cleaned all the encoders and now it works perfect! this is the best buy i have ever done. haha! thanks again retrosound for your amazing demos!
I know my Korg could do a lot of the sounds in this video with some creative programming, but I don't know about stereo panning- I'd have to do some research.
i got myself a blofeld, which has some sounds that come close to the microwave. however the microwave is still king. i was wondering how much it is on ebay? thank you for the video!!!
There is - and it's actually from Waldorf themself, so it's kinda "official". It's not for theMicrowave though, but for the PPG Wave. Google for "Waldorf PPG Wave 2.V"
