they announced the new zelda just no videos they had a picture and the biggest deal was that link wasn't holding his master sword while he had the sheild on the other. the developer pointed this out so i'm guessing the game revolves around the master sword.

That would show something if we had 2004. Nintendo now has another information policy. Remember Wario Land or Captain Rainbow. They were only announced a few months before release. Since Zelda is a greater franchise Nintendo announces Zelda games a bit earlier, but not almost two years before release. Not more.

I think nintendo is smart enough to not do that again. yeah I expect wii sports resort to be their big focus, but hopefully they'll demo the conduit and zelda spirit tracks. as for new games, they probably will show wii fit plus for casuals and hopefully a starfox (extreamely doubtful) or F-zero game (possible) for the hard core. If nintendo wants to get me completely excited like never before a new golden sun game would do it but again that is very doubtful

haha, yeah that was funny. But I was talking more about the year itself. On the business side it was quite fantastic, I'm myself not a shareholder but I know of people that were literally cheering even at the conference itself. It was powerful monetarily. Maybe this year is gonna be better for the gamer(I still think many will be somewhat disappointed but), but the market, now more than ever, is a very high priority. We're gonna see. Regardless, low expectations pay off every time.

It's a bit early for a new Zelda. The last was announced only weeks ago. It will be released this year. And there won't be two Zelda games this year. So Zelda Wii will be released at the earliest end of 2010. So it won't be announced till spring 2010.
