For Phase I, the exercise that are to be done in pyramid, 5 sets of 12,10,8,6,12-15 reps. Should it be from heavy weights to light weight or light weight to heavy?
I've been working out about 2 days a week on average for about a year and a half, but haven't gotten any results. I assume its just because I'm doing something wrong. Since I've been training for so long, will it take me a long time to achieve results by using this program? I think I'm correct, let me know. Thanks!
@ninpo4life Try to aim for 4-5 days a week and set up your routine so you hit each muscle at least once or twice a week. Also your diet should be in check, that is one of the most important things
@tonydo93 Thanks. :) I naturally have a slightly lower muscle build than other people my age (some consider me "skinny") so does that change anything? Thanks for your help.
@ninpo4life email me if you need help or have any questions or anything, id be happy to help you, just don't wanna blow up his feed with a conversation tonydo31@yahoo.com
I could you drop fat while building muscles? I have read everywhere that if you're building muscles you're eating more calories and you're more likely to gain fat rather than lose it
there is 3 days set up in phase 1 and 2 days in phase 2 and also 2 in phase 3..... for phase 1 do i workout mon tues wed than ..phase 2 thurs and friday than phase 3 sat and sun ? or how does it work,,thanks
I just checked out the webside and it doesn't make sence to me.
The guy in the videos say that "low reps" will give you density and high reps will give you mass.
Im not english or american so I could be misunderstanding but Im pretty sure Im not.
I study sports and training in college and one of the most basic knowledge about muscle training is: Low reps with heavy weights will give you mass. While high reps with light weights will give you definition.
@MelbourneMaster what give you mass is the breaking down of muscle tissue when you completely exhaust the muscle. If you use low reps but stop before muscle exhaustion the muscle tissue does not break down but becomes stronger and denser.
@kaped23 In its simplicity I agree. But the body is like a smart machine. Expose it to a challenge, and over time it will change in order to perform best, nothing more or less. If you stated lifting 80-90% of your total capacity with say 4-5 reps, your body would require mass and a lot of white muscle fibres which primarily work Anaerob (without oxigen). Say instead you lift 30-40% of your total capacity with 20-30 reps, your muscles won't grow much even though you break down the tissue.
I bought this program recently and i notice alot of the use of a barbell. I do not own a barbell set and i was wondering if substituting it with dumbbells was a good idea, thanks man
Because you are a beginner you will progress faster! The longer you've been training the longer it takes to make the same results. A newbie can expect to gain 10 lbs of muscle in a few months. Whereas a long time bodybuilder is usually happy with 5 lbs of muscle in a year.
@gog9 thats both true and not... bodybuilding is about shocking the body... in the beggining your body wont be used to all the regular pushups and stuff.. after a whole life of bodybuilding you gotta find new ways to to surprise the body and then they will gain muscle.., most people are stuck with the same old routine and therfore not growing
The girls must be all over you!!! ;) Cute AND a great body...I'm kinda surprised they're not throwing themselves through your bedroom window at night. LOL
So as a whole it took you 3 and a half years for this body, hmm. Good job on everything man! Not anyone can stick to training and nutrition for such a long time :)
that wasnt 15%. more like 11%...

@MelbourneMaster yes, if it was stated on the site like you said it would be incorrect, low reps give mass.
