ok first of all probably it is not modified at all, i have same passat and i can reach 155 mph with no problem. it takes some time to do soo but it gets there. so thats the reason why i dont think this one is modified. if they showed acceleration from beggining we would know for sure and also doesnt have to be VR6 mine is 1.8 turbo

no way, you need at least 200whp...not crankshaft power...Integra Type-R is 1.8 205hp(197whp) and doing 250km/h...and it's lighter than your passat about 100-150kg. (1150-1200max kg Integra)

you must have 900-950kg max car for 255 with 170hp...i believe 160whp.

Nee,mit nem 1.8 T kommst du nicht auf 250,ich hatte nen Audi A4 1.8T,der serienmässig auf 220 kam(laut tacho) wahrscheindlich echte 210,jez fahre ich einen Audi RS4 und einen Golf 4 R32,der R32 kommt original auf 265(laut tacho) und es ist ein 3.2l mit 240 ps,momentan in umbauphase zum Turbolader =)

,hab mich umentschieden auf nen twinturbo..ist mitlerweile fast fertig,nur noch die feinabstimmung :),hab aber ca.26'000 schweizer franken investiert,aber hab den motor komplett umgerüstet,inkl. komplette aufpuffanlage,twinturbo.-kit mit den LLK's kompletter motor zerlegt etc. =) also bis ins detail,im moment bekomme ich bei 0.8 bar ladedruck abgeriegelt 585 PS,kann aber bis zu 1.1 bar aufdrehen das er auch standhaft bleibt :) d.h über 600 PS,in den nächsten tagen kommt noch der LG einbau ;)

Great car, mine´s is almost 60000km and it still runs great. The turbo is smooth, and punchy when it´s necessary. I only wish I had roads like that in my country, Brazil, so I could know this car a little better. Right here, the police is such a pain in the ass, and the roads aren´t safe at all for these speeds. Way to go germans, you´ve get great cars and roads!

Guys this the reason why your vw passat gets only up to 120-125mph is because this one on the video is in germany and its unlimited but in US they limit the top speed to 130mph. I know because i have 2 vw passats, one 2003 v6 and one 2006 2.0T. They both get 130-140 top because of the limitation. But in Europe they dont limit them, its a free world over there lol..

I've gotten my '05 Passat Variant up to 135mph in the states but the darned limiter prevents it from getting beyond 135mph! Just do it on a nice long quiet smooth stretch of pavement. When I was at 135mph, I couldn't believe how smooth the car was! One time is enough and I want my car to last for a long time. Haha.
