  • Windows 7 64 bit, I have Vapor X HD5770 single card only and I got that problem. I had whole screen flickering like it was having a seizure, that was fixed due to VGA cable not syncing with the video card and monitor so I switched to hdmi and it stopped flickering. Next problem is I get something like yours + I get game freezes for 20secs and back to normal. I fixed that by trying different ATI drivers and I found out version 10.10 works best to stop that thing you had.

  • Try this, helped me with a similiar bug:

    watch?v=Qq2IPdwADWo

Hope it work for you guys too!

    Have fun!

  • I have similiar bug, fires from SCVs "jetpacks" and from other things just go like crazy all over the screen. Any solutions? :(

    Radeon hd5730

  • my best guess which i use to have the same problem was the psu which i upgraded the 850watts from 500 but i am running a single 5770 waiting for the crossfire bridge to come in in order to get the second 5770

  • my 4670 backed by my quad core with 4 gb of ram runs it fine on ultra...but I ve got the 5770, and another 4GB of Ram on the way any way cant wait!

  • I'm having the same issue with my crossfire 5750. Blinks like that even on 1 card only. I got the last ATI driver on for my 64bit windows 7. I don't get it i have so much lines blinking.

  • @greenstaG I contacted customer service and they told me they didn't know what the problem is and to return the cards which I did. It's currently at their facility and they're taking a look at it.

  • Hi, i had this same problem with ati 5970, and i fixed it. What i did is i downloaded latest ati driver/profiles, i went to add/remove, did complete uninstall of ati, including catalyst install manager. I downloaded Driver Sweeper, latest version, installed it. I then restarted computer, while booting, i pressed F8 couple of times and selected boot in safe mode. Then I ran driver sweeper, i selected all ATI/NVIDIA/PHYS ex stuff and cleaned with driver sweeper. Restart-->install ati driver.

  • 1. on nvidia turn off physX

    2. turn graphics to low (graphics will stay good longer)

    3. update graphics drivers or hope better drivers come out

    4. don't waste time uninstalling / installing somethig, it's driver related...

  • True, one 5770 can handle ultra fine but you know how it is when you build PC rigs, you want the most fps possible, even if it's overkill.

  • lol you dont need crossfire for this game my 1 5770 runs it max fine 1920x1080

  • I am just wondering, if you disable crossfire and then re-enable it while the game is playing will it work? I don't have a crossfire set up but maybe give that a try and see what you can do from there

  • @ding1500 If I change settings while a game is running it seems to crash it.
