Windows 7 64 bit, I have Vapor X HD5770 single card only and I got that problem. I had whole screen flickering like it was having a seizure, that was fixed due to VGA cable not syncing with the video card and monitor so I switched to hdmi and it stopped flickering. Next problem is I get something like yours + I get game freezes for 20secs and back to normal. I fixed that by trying different ATI drivers and I found out version 10.10 works best to stop that thing you had.
my best guess which i use to have the same problem was the psu which i upgraded the 850watts from 500 but i am running a single 5770 waiting for the crossfire bridge to come in in order to get the second 5770
I'm having the same issue with my crossfire 5750. Blinks like that even on 1 card only. I got the last ATI driver on for my 64bit windows 7. I don't get it i have so much lines blinking.
@greenstaG I contacted customer service and they told me they didn't know what the problem is and to return the cards which I did. It's currently at their facility and they're taking a look at it.
Hi, i had this same problem with ati 5970, and i fixed it. What i did is i downloaded latest ati driver/profiles, i went to add/remove, did complete uninstall of ati, including catalyst install manager. I downloaded Driver Sweeper, latest version, installed it. I then restarted computer, while booting, i pressed F8 couple of times and selected boot in safe mode. Then I ran driver sweeper, i selected all ATI/NVIDIA/PHYS ex stuff and cleaned with driver sweeper. Restart-->install ati driver.

I am just wondering, if you disable crossfire and then re-enable it while the game is playing will it work? I don't have a crossfire set up but maybe give that a try and see what you can do from there

1. on nvidia turn off physX
2. turn graphics to low (graphics will stay good longer)
3. update graphics drivers or hope better drivers come out
4. don't waste time uninstalling / installing somethig, it's driver related...

True, one 5770 can handle ultra fine but you know how it is when you build PC rigs, you want the most fps possible, even if it's overkill.

@ding1500 If I change settings while a game is running it seems to crash it.
