  • is the lady dancing an Indian

  • hi, have been learning bharatanatyam for 10 years now. this lady is not at all good, where is the aramandi?? steps also not crisp enough

  • Very nice music, what`s the name?

I`ve been studying bharathanatyam for 6 years and I think you need to put more strength on the adavus and improve your aramandhi. But I like your arms very much when you do the teermanams and you have a beautiful smile!

    Congrats

  • She is doing everything right and is on the right track...... but need a little more perfection and practice too.....

She looks lyk she is too tired... No perfection on places where she has to do the aramandi position......

  • good god.

i have been dancing for 10 years now and i have to say this dance can use a LOT OF IMPROVEMENT.

im not trying to be mean or anything i am just letting you know.

  • This item's choreography was done by Smt.Rukmini Devi Arundale in Kalakshetra style . I dont see any Kalakshetra style in your dance .

  • love it.....i love being indian we have a culture no one else can stand up to.

  • Hi! I am a dancer too. your dance is beautiful and i would greatly appreciate it if you would post the enitre video of varnam. You are an amazing dancer and i would love to be able to see the rest of this amazing dance. if you could also give me some background on this dance i would love it. thank you!

  • she doesnt sit aramandi at all. and her legs are to far apart

  • Hi! I am learning baratanatyam for almost 8 years..so i guess my comments can be used.

This young lady is not that good. Her steps are not that firm..shes too soft. Not graceful enuf.

The tirmanam can be done properly by adding a little aramandi, and face expression.use your eyes lady! U r already on the right trach just that practice more.. Do your best..

  • @heyhw5 yea i noticed that as well, she seemed very stiff

  • love this song

    n wonderful dance :)

    is divided in diff sections?

    really good dancing

    great performance

    :D

  • Can you post the second half of Nee inda mayam varnam?

  • Can you post the entire Roopamu Joochi Varnam please? Thanks!

  • QUE PRECIOSO

  • regardless of her araimundi, shes is absolutely clean in her adavu's and expression. Good job!:)

  • amazing! Very great dancing =D

  • she is tall, but it also looks like she is older

  • Her Araimandi isn't so great. I know shes very tall but I don't understand how she made it to Arangetram without perfecting her Araimandi...?

  • i agree

  • whaetever, my god.. its not an allarippu, its a trikala jati the first part of the varnam.. meaning three speeds where the pace accelerates. guys you need to watcg and read more

  • She have no perfection...

  • my bad. Its her graduation(arnatium*don't know how to spell that*) right?

  • Arangetram* is the word

  • this is not alarippu.. This is varnam

  • it's slow because it's an alarippu. alarippu means "flowering of the limbs" and is usually done first--therefore it's never strenuous.

  • hahahah buddy its not alaripu its varnam. she is doing thodi varnam trikala theerumanam ok... so don't confuse with alaripu and varnam

  • oyoyoyoooooo! so slooooooooooooooooow :-)

    does not stand any comparison with what we see on {w w w. j ay q. o r g} !
