I will buy this game. I am buying this game right now, off of Steam. I have only seen an X Play review and what the CnC site said. And yes, the tiberium system sucks, and you respawn.  But I buy it anyways. Because I will love it. i know I will. and fuck X Play for bashing the cutscenes, CnC games have great cutscenes and actors ten times better than you X Play hosts so STFU. Command and Conquer died with Westwood. The series fell apart after EA became completely in control of it. CnC3 was horrible and Red Alert 3 killed that franchise, I would rather play RA2 or Tib Sun with update graphics than the garbage they continue to publish under the CnC name.

The units however have an extensive upgrade system, as i only got to play for a few minutes, and havent been able to find a game since its really hard to comment any further, but from what i have read on the offical cnc4 beta forum, which only beta testers can get into. im sad to say guys its not looking good. alot of die hard players are in there saying some pretty bad stuff about this game.

well the beta is pretty unstable atm i went on and there was like 2 people in the lobbies... so it was nearly impossible to get a game... im not sure if that is because the server wern't working correctly, or because i live in Australia and there was no one online at that point in time... HOWEVER, i did get an invite to a 5v5, and well... my game crashed about 5 mins into the game... but thats beta for ya....

Gameplay wise.. it is extremely different to any other CNC game ever made... and im not talking a few minior changes i mean this thing is totally different. sure the units are recognisable, and the terrian, apart from that... its an entirely new breed of game...

Basically you choose 3 MCV type units called crawlers... offence,defence,support.. each coming with different units, there is absoloutly no structures what so ever to build... the only thing remotly close to that is deploying

On the map there are 5 tib spike type structures, and the goal of the entire game is to capture them... in a "tug of war" type way, meaning there is a bar at the top and the more units you have near the tib spike the quicker you capture it.

and the more spikes you control, the faster the you will win...

Guys, don't get too excited. I been playing C&C since I was a kid from the first C&C to C&C 3, plus Red Alert 1 and 2... heck I even played the Dune games, when every thing was Westwood. Haven't played RA3 heard EA ruined it like they do everything. But the story is NOT GOING TO END HERE!
