@forlatagate There isn't anything secular or pagan about meditation (Easter style). The commands of Christ and God are clear to a T. The bible does not chastise meditation. As a matter of fact, it is very clear about the practices it does chastise and meditation to clear your mind isn't one of them. Finally, Christ clearly states that the Kingdom is within (also Eastern teaching). In my opinion, the typical Christian is critical, judgmental, proud and biased. In short, not very Christian.

There isn't a verse saying you can't meditate to clear your mind (not one). Although most verses mention the importance on meditating on the word, there are none refererring to Eastern meditation style. In my experience, religions circumvent and misinterpret Bible teachings. I believe the bible is perfect. However, our interpretation of it (pastors) isn't.

@forlatagate There isn't anything secular or pagan about meditation (Easter style). The commands of Christ and God are clear to a T. The bible does not chastise meditation. As a matter of fact, it is very clear about the practices it does chastise and meditation to clear your mind isn't one of them. Finally, Christ clearly states that the Kingdom is within (also Eastern teaching). In my opinion, the typical Christian is critical, judgmental, proud and biased. In short, not very Christian.

Try in 1 Cor 3:16-17... then try Romans 1:18-32 (NKJV). Focus on the words Futile, Vile, Debased and keep it in context. Learn that all things are permissible, but not everything is beneficial. Also, study John 14:15-18, then look at yourself in the mirror daily and be honest with yourself! Finally, get on your knees, repent of ALL of your sin; get involved in a bible believing/teaching group of people who can hold you accountable for pleasing God/Jesus first.

If you read the verses then you completely missed the message. Take it from a former smoker... it's in there! I wouldn't tell you this if I haven't already experienced it. I know its addictiveness and the bondage power it has. He created a lot of things but that doesn't make them good. If your intention is to simply move your body as God designed us to then there is no sin in those movements. However, if you do any movement with yoga as a guide then you are sinning. No, I am not familiar with the account 4 VFZ.

On my spiritual quest, the Lord was with all the way, and He let me know when I did something wrong, i.e. tarot cards. Bad evidentely. Some people are not intelligent enough to be good Christians.
