  • I never knew walls could wobble :/

  • I hope he got tons of tips haha.

  • omg reminds me of house elves from harry potter

  • monty python is life itself. my freind. without it we are poorer

  • I love Monty Python! why does everything nowadays have to be so politically correct?

  • @anberlinrox333 Amen. just look at CBS sitcoms for the perfect example of a weird combo of PC-ness and vulgarity that is unfunny.

  • The "How to irritate people", along with "The Complete and Utter History of Britain" and "Do not adjust your set" shows, produced, filmed and broadcasted a few months before "Flying Circus", were in a way the "pilots", in which the then Monty Python members developed their trademark humour. For every Python's fan, they're a must see!!

  • medium beyond believe :D

  • A young Polly (Connie Booth)!

  • not politically correct... and therefore funny as hell!

  • Offensive, offensive, offensive....What a bore! I wonder why thinking that other communities are so (racially? genetically?) inferior that they totally unable to have some sense of humour is nowadaysconsidered to stand for politically correct . Actually, I'd call it downright fascist.

  • ...And now all we have are SNL sketches. Sigh. I was born in the wrong generation.

  • funny yet offensive

  • Why I dont go to indian restaruurants

  • ...This reminds me a bit too much of a houself. o_o

  • Man, John Cleese is brilliant!

  • reminds me of most fancy restaurants

  • bad dobby, bad dobby.

  • and these are the guys i call for my laptop to be fixed?

  • Good lord... Death by immolation... Sounds like some crazy House Elf from Harry Potter meets Kunal Nayyar from The Big Bang Theory.

  • The Indian guy reminds me of do by the house elf.

  • @prokentsful look up brian regan. NO dirty jokes, and he is HILARIOUS. you'd love him.

  • I adore Monty Python in general. they have a good mix of intelligence and silliness. This particular sketch however is simnply tedious.

  • I adore Monty Python in general. they have a good mix of intelligence and silliness. This particular sketch however is simnply tedious

  • I see Polly.

  • @tantawi1992 Maybe because I'm Russian, I LOVE English humor. And you Canadians... hell yeah, your humor is surely lame. Sorry!!

P.S. Maybe, you need to grow up, too)))))

  • @HelenaVanCity English comedy is the greatest comedy in my opinion.

I'm from Australia and I hate American comedy... It's all horrible.

  • @prokentsful Well, not all American comedy is lame. Take Friends, for example, or Everybody Loves Raymond, if you've seen it. But to say that MP is lame is certainly way over the top. I sincerely pity people who don't appreciate their humor.

  • @HelenaVanCity I have to admit that Friends is pretty good.

But I can't stand to watch American stand-up comedians.

They always seem to make stupid sex jokes when I watch them... I dont' find sex jokes funny.

Only America thinks that it's comedy needs to be dirty to be funny as well.

  • @prokentsful I totally hear you about American stand-ups))) Unfortunately, we in Russia have the same problem - too many "comedians" think that ANY joke about sex is funny is hell, which is not true. On the other hand, at least 50% of the Friends' jokes are about sex, and they ARE funny as hell)) It all depends on the taste of script writers and the audience, I guess))

  • @prokentsful Have you ever heard about the three stooges?

  • @HelenaVanCity

i love EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND. iTS LIKE MY FAMILY....HAHA :)

  • @HelenaVanCity russel peters is a pretty good canadian stand up comedist :D

  • @ichigoXicecream Right on! Just watched his Beating Up Kids last nite))))) I laughed until I cried!!

  • @tantawi1992 Well when you're brought up on Wayne and Shuster, Kids in the Hall, Red Green, Codco and Second City you would certainly be an expert in "lame" humor.

  • 2:19 connie was startled hahaha cute

  • XD

  • Does punishing yourself agaisnt a fake wall hurt?

  • I've seen this "movie" before and do not remember ANY of these sketches, except the one with the pilots and the ones redone from the Flying Circus series.

  • The sign on the restaurant reads 'Rajasthan' in Hindi. Its a state in India, nothing Tibetan about it. Quite far away from Tibet, actually. Nothing remotely wintry or mountainous about the place. Rather hot and sandy, in fact. For the geographically challenged, the place is on the north- west border with Pakistan, and not to the north- east with China.

  • welcome ot seven eleven

  • For anyone who blindly thinks this is racist, IT'S NOT!!

It's making fun of the dying/dead British imperialism and the then stereotype of "eastern" peoples. Notice that this in no way is actually Tibetan, it's very much a "arn't they all like that" flavour.

  • hahahaha Palin morphed into French there at 1:20

  • I would have asked for a different waiter 15 seconds into this

  • @Cdub2k racist...

  • THERE IS NO NAPKIN!!!!! LET ME STAB ME WITH A FORK!

  • @3rdsnowleopard the sketch is about Indians you fool lil:p

  • @Tijnas617 But it's Tibetan on the sign.

  • @PaulSLambeth haha well noticed, Tibet shares many cultural aspects of India and China being squished in between the two. Although the sketch shows a Tibetan restaurant, this sketch is a humorous jube at the popular India stereotype. (not exactly common stereotype these days but was back in the day)

ps. my reply was to a guy talking about Arabs by the way, which Tibetans certainly are not lolz :D

  • the waiter reminds me to Dobby the house elf when he punishes himself!

  • is that polly from fawlty towers?

  • This is wonderful!!!

  • they should of included subtitles

  • lmfao it's like fawlty towers on acid. Manuel's popped 2 e's and has a broom up his arse

  • was this filmed in the Maharajah Restaurant, Nadi?

  • 69 People Irritiate others in a Restaraunt

  • I absolutely love Michael Palin in this one - the man is so frickin' hilarious!!! xD

  • Press 6 at 0:00 every second or so... "Fuck you!"

  • very, very, extremely medium

  • ha ha ha the clash of two cultures - it's always so funny

  • The food may not be too good, but the atmosphere is different.

  • Press 1:26 over and over again...you'll love it

  • I want very very extremely medium tea!

  • THERE WAS NOOO NAAAPPPKKKEEEN!!!!!!! XD

  • Ah the days when political correctness wasn't so fucked up

  • Comment removed

  • Back when poking fun at arabs didn't get your head cut off.

  • @3rdsnowleopard Especially when one couldn't tell an Arab from a Sindhi, Gujrathi or Marathi

  • @3rdsnowleopard they have been cutting innocent peoples heads off since 350 B.C.

  • @3rdsnowleopard

The fuck are you talking about, really?

  • 65 people have no sense of humor!!

  • OMG...it's Dobby. O.O

  • @wildwomanwisdom

hahaha exactly what i was thinking xD

  • She is Connie Booth, isn't she? Really beautiful.

  • Excuse me... while I punish myself.

  • This is probably the prototype of the Dirty Fork Sketch

  • 1:21-1:32 is the video, everything else is just irritatingly overdone

  • I also like things very very extremly medium

  • 2:27 dobby...?

  • this is not racist because it was made at a time before racisam was invented .

  • LOL

  • SANJI! THERE IS DUST ON THIS CHAIR!

    AAAYYEEIEIEIEYEYEYEYE

  • @FiddleStixor To be honest, when that Sanji guy say that, I thought he was about to blow himself up.

  • @FiddleStixor B0000M!!!!.

  • 1:26 CHEWIE IMPRESSION

  • This could just as easily have been a sketch where an American waiter with a weird accent irritates patrons in a restaurant that specializes in Japanese-style curry and happens to play sitar music. It's only racist if you assume they're mocking Middle Easterners, or Indians, or whoever it is you think they're mocking with their stereotype, and that doesn't necessarily mean the material itself is racist, just that the viewer perceives it as such.

  • 1:26 hahahahaa

  • @cellogirlMJfan

The chair thing and the chef coming in was just like it.

  • funny thing is ive eaten at an indian resturaunt that was similar to this... xD

  • is anyone else reminded of the dirty fork sketch in monty python by this?

  • @cellogirlMJfan I thought it was a version of that. A bit samey, but still funny..

  • @cellogirlMJfan They are practically Monty Python, just some members missing I think. And I bet not everyone wrote and participated in every sketch.

  • @cellogirlMJfan A lot of the material in "How To Irritate People" was recycled in the early Monty Python shows.

  • @cellogirlMJfan I thought it was the same thing looking at the thumbnail, both are good anyway ^^

  • your grace, let me wash your feet... lolXD

  • aammaazziinngg

  • This is not racist, lol. Because who claim it is, are probably oppurtunists.

  • @12ape I think you should look up the word 'opportunists'. I do not think it mean what you think it means.

  • i'm finding all your hateful comments towards each other, in response to a john cleese video, funnier than the video itself...... ha ha ha! keep going guys you're hilarious........

  • its not racist.

  • Hey, to all you "Huge fans":-

    1) Connie Booth played Polly Sherman

    2) In 'Fawlty Towers' (rather than "Faulty Towers")

Now you know, you can stop making tits of yourselves online!

  • @JonnyRisotto I saw her in Farty Towels.

  • EVERYBODY SHUT UP...JUST WATCH AND MOVE ON

  • I want to go to a restaurant like this.

  • I love when that guy starts screaming in anguish when he learns the chair is dusty. Too funny!

  • There's a fine line between a genuine racism claim and someone who's just a tight ass. I'm the most anti-racist person in history, but you people crying racism just shutup, you have broomsticks up the bum. It must be hell living with humorless people like you who take yourselves so seriously.

  • @KingofStarfox ...>_> You use a slang based off homophobia after "I'm not racist." >_>

  • @LucienFati "broomstick up the bum" isn't referring to homosexuality. It's an expression meaning you're an 'uptight' kind of person, humorless, overly serious kind of person. People like that walk around all rigid and tense all the time, like they have a broomstick up the bum. Might be a canadian thing. I'm not homophobic at all. If someone's gay, that's fine with me.

  • @KingofStarfox I've always taken the line "holding a quarter in his @ss" to mean uptight and then references to "get the stick out of your @ss" to have started at "get your dick out of your @ss". Meh w/e.

  • @LucienFati why would I be homophobic while admiring the comic work of Graham Chapman in this comedy skit? He was openly gay and a genius who I admire.

  • Its just like the dirty fork scetch

  • extremly medium

  • Racism .... and Restaurant ....... tut tut - LOL

  • sounds like King Julian off madagascar!! hehe luv it

  • I wonder if J. K. Rowling got her idea for Dobby from this? lol.

  • i would be like:

    hummmm aaaaaaaaalllright

  • I have had that waiter.

  • I like the other waiter's reaction, hahaha, he immediately understands the level of seriousness of the situation

  • Reminds of the Dirty Fork sketch...

  • excellent

  • excellent

  • It's like Dobby... in Monty Python.

  • this is my favorite skit evar!!!

  • @gipnfdl007 it is both correct :), good day sir your mother was a hamster!.

  • @blizzardWoW & your father smells of Elderberries LOL

  • Man, you make a skit like this nowadays and people everywhere would be offended.

  • "THERE-IS-NO-NAP-KIN!!!!"

    Top notch

  • Michael Palin does an extremely good parody of an obsequious archetypal indian waiter, why this is classic stuff. All hale to the hotbed of eccentric comedy and satire that is The Cambridge University Footlights Dramatic Club commonly referred to simply as the Footlights".

  • did anyone notice that one of the menues he gives to the customers has to be upside down ? the red ribbons the evidence

  • @MrMaffen The waiter complains about having done it too...>_>

  • Oops thought i was doing a search on my iPad. How silly of me! I must be punished!!

  • Python dirty fork

  • hahahahaha

  • also John married Connie Booth and they co-wrote Faulty Towers

  • irritiate ??? IS THAT TO DO WITH RADIATION ?

  • I bet he cringes when he see's this now.

  • wow the cenario is about to brake with is head....

  • 1:40 He's Dobby, hehe.

  • I think I love you.

  • rofl 1:19 "AH! DOOO WU-AH-YAH YAAAH"

  • Is that the women who plays the wife in Faulty Towers?

  • @theallypalmtree I don't think so but I'm pretty sure it is Polly

  • @yaloolah42 Right right right. I knew it was one of them, my bad. I got the people and their names confused. I haven;t seen Faulty Towers in quite some time. thank you.

  • nah, that's the maid...

  • she wasnt a maid u fool she was a waitrose and a member of staff who worked at the hotel maids dont exisit in the morden world

  • @charlieiscool1000 a waitrose?

    a supermarket?!

Besides they still call em maid i know - i was 1!

  • i meant a waitress sorry lol

  • charlieiscool I am not a fool what is a waitrose and chambermaids do exist today

  • nah its Connie Booth who plays polly

  • hahahaha!! Graham's Mustache!!

  • @dreadlegs

didnt understand a single word but i think youre right... in some very sick and strange kind of way...

    ;-)

  • @dreadlegs ah m8 people are different to eachother we always goin to notiec those differences and make jokes or comments bout them for self or mutual amusement. its only the sensitive people that create a name for it and a reason to be offended.

without a name it just happens haha. i love how we are all different. would be borin if EVERYONE was the same so why ppl get offended :(

  • @dreadlegs

Im scottish asian! I never found it raciciisistsitsiiststststt

  • @dreadlegs

"Celebrate Diversity" doesn't extend to having a sense of humor.. or so I've been told.

  • @dreadlegs people get too worked up over racism now. i reckon they shuld just laugh and enjoy the jokes

  • @dreadlegs Tit! Dreadful word, frightfully tinny.

  • @dreadlegs

That rant was actually totally adorable.

It's probably the Scottishness about it, I dunno.

  • I love how the customers try their hardest to tune out the waiter.

  • Giving new meaning to customer service.

  • that is funny as heck, wow, I love these.

  • Do kindly educate us, then, newcomer. Going up against practiced, legendary comedians will be funny to watch.
