@WackoJackoLmfao of course it would, those performance were done in different year and with technology today every year make this visual effects better.
the technology they are all using was pioneered by people like Golan Levin as far back as 2003 - see Messa di Voce
it's just taken a good decade for the mainstream to catch-up with developments in experimental inter-media there's nothing "new," simply improvements on existing ideas.
i think kagemu is a thief for stealing all of those breakdancing moves from the originators of 1970's breaking, shame on him. but then lorella's straight up copied all of kagemu's opening segment with the circles and birds, but then beyonce copied the drums and wings, but kagemu copied the smoke from a cigarette, and the lighted weapon from star wars and AAAAHHHHH!!!!! my head is exploding from all of this infringement!!!
@dayg715 She put her own spin on its fine. U act like 2 people cant have to videos that are similar to each other. Stop living in a bag. Artist do it all the time.
People are so stupid. She never stole anything, actually both of the ladies didn't. If Im inspired by something, I will use it and add my own spin to it and give credit where it is due. Beyonce always credits people who she was inspired by, like the stivie Nicks guitar riff while on Destiney's Child, she credited her, also single laddies dance . Everything in life is inspired by something, dance, music, art, someone did it before and it keeps comin back, circle of life bros.
@thandolakhe its alright to be inspired, but only to an extent. beyonce did not credit this artist until everybody started catching on. most of beyonces work is either borrowed or "inspired". if i were a boy was stolen from an unknown artist who claimed it. beyonce said that they would sing it together when shes famous. classy? i dont think so.
@MrFutureseer Beyonce bought the song from her, dumbass she didnt steal anything.. And she's credited on the album. Get your facts straight before you start talking shit!
@punkprincess192 Uhh get YOUR facts straight first. Beyonce didnt buy the song until she was faced with a lawsuit regarding the track due to her labeling herself as the songwriter during its first release BEFORE the entire album was released. They settled in court with beyonce actually buying the song and crediting her. However beyonce had to record a duet with said artist and never held up her own end of the agreement so theres still some legal issues back there. She called herself the
@punkprincess192 songwriter originally and didnt even have the consent to record it from Britney. After she started selling it Britney sued beyonce and the legal battle goes on. Beyonce did not have the right to use any of the song whatsoever. Therefor she literally Stole the song.
Update: Kagemu who created this concept is devasted by not getting credited for his life's work, and that Lorella Cuccarini has. Here is his link & quote where he made the comment:
blog (dot)hana-busa(dot)jp/
"Therefore, to steal the work means to seal the creator's life and identity. I have no tolerance for someone bringing out the work with no efforts as if it were original.
I would like you to make a judgement by honest means."
monoli0083 THANK YOU for making this vid!!! The Japanese have been doing this for years. I find it very rich that Lorella has said that Bey stole from her. HA! Bey's ppl should dig a little deeper as so many others have. I could not believe Lorella originated this idea, & it prompted me to search for the TRUE source. I wasn't surprised, as the Japenese have been doing this for such a long time. They really are such strong dedicated, and talented artists. And they deserve proper respect.
@oldascosmicdust I really hope that many more artists will use hollographics in their performance. One of the most amazing concerts I've seen was again from Japan. Totally innovative! It's by Hatsune Miku. Type in: Holographic Japanese Pop Star. For some reason, I can't post the URL. Youtube won't let me.
Anyway,iIf Western artists ever get a hold of this & add their own personal touches to this, it would totally revolutionize our music industry. I'm certainly looking forward to this.
@BHD2012 the holograph? its cool but its a "cartoon".....tks but we have enuf ELECTRONICS running the music industry as it is. we need more SINGERS and less recording studio "voodoo". for live performances it will no longer be unique and people wud critique the performance of the HOLOGRAPH instead of the singer's performance . one good thing, NO NEED FOR DANCERS anymore hehe. heck they cud phone in the music.
@oldascosmicdust LOL your comments about our music industry is just hilarious as well as insightful. This is why I said if the artist could just take pieces of this technology & make it their own. As it stands, many of the artists today, mine as well use a cartoon based on the performances, as well as the recordings that are passed off as "music". Golden voices such as Mariah Carey & Whitney Houston are really hard to come by these days. Many are asking what in the world has happened to music?
@BHD2012 tks...i probably been around as long as COSMIC DUST and ur right about golden voices. gaga can sing - really - christina, pink...a few others. seem cutesy is IN and ability is OUT. in fact, some of the music used today sounds a lot like the music from the UK in the 80's if u watch MTV videos of the past. i dont think we are progressing as much as digressing - old sounds incorporated in "new" songs. originality? PFFFT.
@ErickReyKing1 The Japanese have been doing it for YEARS. I really hope they receive the acclaim they so deserve. It's funny how this never became a controversy UNTIL Bey used the same concept. Just goes to show that Lorella's vid was lack-luster. Noone has ever said a word about Lorella's "thievery" regarding this Japanese Artist's work, & now she has the NERVE to say Bey copied her w/o giving proper respect to the source of her THIEVERY. The NERVE of her.
@BHD2012 watching the performaces you can easily notice that Lorella Cuccarini was only inspired by the Japanese performer, then creating a new personal version of the holographic concept; while Beyonce's performance is evidently a copy of the basic aspects shown in Lorella's performance, and even following the same sequence: wings, birds, beating on the drum, multiplication of body, etc...
@BHD2012 Luca Tommassini stole it, not Lorella who probably didn't know about that. Tommassini is used to stealing ideas and using them in his works. Beyonce delcared that she has copied from Lorella's performance, not from Kagemu's...
@kindafly This is a lie. Any artist on their "A" game definately will ask about the origin of a piece of work. And artists KNOW full well they can be SUED due 2 copyright infringement/violation of intellectual property, etc. Lawsuits & settling out of court are very expensive for any artist, esp. one who isn't as well-known as Bey. Any judge will hold the ARTIST FULLY RESPONSIBLE. BTW, if YOU & the public @ large know how cut-throat Luca is, how come Lorella doesnt? She STOLE pure & simple.
@kindafly I just wanted to add that I'm very disappointed in Bey's research team. The youtube community and ppl at large was HOTon this & DUG D-E-EP 2 find the true source of LC 's "inspiration"*& Bey's team couldn't? I thought this was original work by graphic artist Kenzo-Digital and Tribe, and that Bey paid them and had the legality to use this concept? Mr. Kagemu's complaint is that he wasn't credited/or compensated as the ORIGINATOR of his idea that took yrs to create. All around mess

First there was Kagemu.
Then, there was Lorella Cuccarini.
Last but not least, there was Beyoncè.
Recently, Agnes Monica "borrowed" the concept.
