i've got the undub version of this as well - the voice acting is much better, but the sentences are broken up in different order, so having the english text doesn't actually make it 'subtitled' in the regular sense. it's a bit strange when you advance the dialogue.

Japanese voice acting is better, and this is coming from someone who doesn't speak a word of it. There's more emotion to their voice acting than there is to ours.

I personally like most of the english voices better, definitely KOS-MOS and Voyager, probably Ziggy. I'm a little torn on Shion, I think the japanese and english are equally good on her.

I think your battle strategy kinda sucked. It took you so long to kill him. But perhaps thats just me, I have this stupid habit of really training and making my characters strong all the time. Like at this point in the game my characters had at least 1 ultimate move already. And they also had all the sub moves too.

KOS-MOS simply bitchslaps any character. Seriously, I can think of hundreds of characters from other games that are about 1% of KOS-MOS's coolness, and KOS-MOS could murder them all.

I absolutely hated this battle my first time through the game. Didn't know he was weak to fire, or that Seven Moons causes Crystallization at times, which added up to me getting slaughtered. That, and he just LOVED to use that all hitting breath attack that poisons, boost, use it again, boost, use it again, boost, then use it again after having built his boost up to 3........It was a pain. Now though, he's cake.

Well, what you're saying isn't completely true, but it does possess some validity. The quality of the japanese voices is very well, but in some portions, it's lacking. The same can be said for the english version. But, overall, both possess superb voice acting.

English voice acting doesn't even compare to Japanese voice acting in this game. You're just saying English VA is better because you're use to listening to it but in reality for people who knows both English and Japanese and have played this game both ways understand that Japanese VA is a lot better.
