@Razlo5000 Good point but the tick, even the cartoon isnt about the fights, its about that crazy blue guy lol, and yes mostly he did fight he the cartoon but the funny bits were mostly from elsewhere in the show, i think they decided to focus more on the superhero lifestyle and shit of the tick rather then the fights themselves he goes through.

They want to see him wrestle a giant green dinosaur expert. They want to see him leap rooftops, destroying parapets, and disposing of bombs by holding them as far away as possible. Where's the SPOOOOOON!?
@Razlo5000 Well the fights are impossible to perform. That would cost millions having the Tick fight bloody Tedzilla or Chairface.
Instead it's a Sitcom which is awesome.
The reason it failed was because Fox didn't give it a chance. Impossible time slot, shooting schedule (5 days for just 1 episode instead of 7 days) and so on. If you want superhero fighting we got tons and tons of Power Rangers episodes for you.
defladermouse was turned into batmanuel and the american main became captain liberty. they couldnt keep everything perfectly inline with the cartoon ya know

No wonder this series failed. Here we are 5 episodes in and there has only been one on screen villain battle and that was the pilot.
