  • You can also adjust the size of the loop by pulling the line ends instead of using the loop to tighten the knot. A great tool for tying these loops is a crochet hook. Form your standing loop, hang the crochet hook from the spinning loop, spin and use the hook to pull the standing loop through the wraps. Presto!

  • dannboli, It's usually better to tie at least a small leader to the loop and tie your fly or hook to that.
