@joekillerdude68 I have Rear speakers but they are interchangeable. They are the swivel speakers u see there. I just take them off the top and place them behind when I use them for that. Cool thing is I don't need to cuz the room is small enough that the surround sound kinda bounces off the walls anyways!

I take great care of my things and I went thru 2 TB headsets cuz of faulty plastic, my roommate right now has tape on his cuz the plastic broke. Almost everyone I know who has TB has the same issues and also Mic issues, so for me ASTROS saved the day, plus the mixamp is state of the art for gaming!

@optimusmagnum okay fair enough, but now the px5's have come out they offer alot more than the x41's. you can adjust tiny things on the px5's like making gun shots quiter and footsteps louder and so much more. astro's are good but people only buy them because they see all the mlg pros using them. ive never seen a review from any mlg players saying astros are better because they only use astro's, so if they were to use px5 im pretty sure they would like it more. plus its all wireless :)

@MilkyEdits PX5's are a;so not true surround sound, look it up. The pros mostly use Astros or Trittons because they are quite simply the better headset. And wireless doesn't always mean better. Wireless sometimes gets interference from other signals or there can be lag. And I prefer not having to recharge or replace batteries. The Astro Mixamp works very well and I would not trade that in for the world. It's so versatile and works w/ everything I need. Sorry but Astros always win for me

@optimusmagnum really cant use true surround sound as an argument considering astros are true surround sound, they are virtual surround (they have one speaker in each ear) true surround sound is headsets like the tritton ax pro and the turtle beach HPX that have 4 speakers in each ear. the astros (a30 and A40) the tritton ax 720 and the TB PX5 and X41 are all virtual surround

Quick question: Is there anyway to record and play on your TV with Composite/S-video wires with the HDPVR? I've been wanting to record some old NES and SNES games with my HDPVR and I haven't found a way to record and play on my TV at the same time. Could I just use the Pelican System Selector Pro with my NES/SNES Composite wire, and have the Component cable from the Pelican System Selector go into the PVR and my TV? Hopefully that last bit made sense. xD

@XxBroBuzzxX U can record S-Video and composite on the PVR, it has both those connections as well as HD connections. As for the system selector pro, u wouldn't need to use that because the component wires from that would be hooked up to ur TV, and that would not help switching to ur NES system. U would have to manually switch cables for that. I hope that made sense, sorry.

@optimusmagnum I know that. The problem is that you can't record AND play on your TV with S-video or Composite, you can only record. Sure, you can play off of your Computer screen, but there's a half a second lag between the computer and the actual game. Plus my friend says it lags when you record with S-video/Composite. Not sure if this is true since I do not have a PVR myself as of yet.

@agenttug description is in the video. I use built in optical out to surround. I use Xbox Factory AV cable w/ optical cable to Astro Headset while the red, blue and green along w/ red and white audio go into my System Selector Pro which goes to my PVR. The System Selector lets me switch to what system I am recording at the touch of a button.

The New 360 stays pretty cool and they are both in front of a window which I leave cracked open on most occasions. So it kinda works out. @parrotperson666 U can if u have the audio output from your tv running into ur headset. Then u can watch w/e is on the tv and listen through ur headset. If your tv has an optical output and u have a headset that uses that I would suggest that for higher quality sound. The only thing i'm not sure of is if it is in 5.1 surround coming from ur tv's output.
