Yeah, those are fair enough reasons, but I think that country with such a very rich culutre and historical background like China dose deserve the Games. I'm not necessarily agreeing with it's politics, but again, as because of the identity that China has in the world history, it was sooner or later that the Games were going to be awarded to them , regardless of them having the best bid (Toronto, Osaka, and Paris all had better bids than Beijing in the 2008 bid race).

Thank you for saying that. some ppl believe that China uses the game as a propaganda tool. That is bullshit. It has nothing to do with the government or leaders. Hosting the olympic game has been a dream of the chinese ppl for 100 years. It should be a good opportunity to promote the mutual understanding among ppl from different countries. I'm not saying that the government is not using these Games to achieve whatever they want (they obviously are - BOCOG is most closely tied with the government than any host city's organizing committee in history. And it's widely acknowledge that these Games will be China's "coming out party" to the world as a great superpower - I mean, think about all those impressive venues), but even still, regime or not, China doesn't, undeniably NOT deserve to host simply because of its world identity.
