  • Shameless Americans.

    Americans are arrogant, hubristic.

    Republic of China is China.

Shame on Condalezza Rice and George W. Bush.

  • We dont oppose taiwan being independent it's just that china has us by the balls right now

We love Taiwan and Taiwan should to be independent

  • The USA has become China's bit on the side.

USA says Taiwan is Chinese, but continue to pledge to defend the island if invaded by China. Everything stinks of hypocrisy. Politics is a game of sleaze and sucking up to whoever has power.

  • 2 governments. 2 flags. 2 currencies. 2 anthems. 2 armies. 2 capital cities. 2 legislatures. 2 passports....and 1 china.

  • they're just sucking up to China cause it's powerful! shame. where's your courage against the wrong?

  • looks like usa is becoming china` bitch lol

  • Condoleeza Rice this monkey with a skirt looking for banana.

  • The American government is good friends with a nation that violates human rights on a grand scale. China may be large and offering good business opportunities, the US certainly has lots of leverage over China still . Where else will China's exports go after all? The US could have "freed" Taiwan long ago at relative little cost, but wilfully and sensely choses to advocate for an immoral communist regime that still worships mass-murderer Mao.

  • History told us that Manchuria Qing dynasty invaded mongolia, tibet, east turkeystan, china and 1/3 part of taiwan. But today china distored the truth history to claim all the occupied territory of Qing dynasty became chinese territory. This world will not be peace if china always claims that the Manchuria Qing's territory is china's territory.

  • PRC does not claim Mongolia although ROC still does.

  • Why dont PRC make Taiwan/ROC just a special admministrative region?

  • Lucky internetuser. PRC WOULD! THIS IS WHY THIS WHOLE THING IS FUCKING RETARDED. IT WOULD BE EXACTLY LIKE HONG KONG!

  • @TheAcolyteTao

No it wouldnt be retarded. Democracy won't be destroyed and everyone is united as CHinese.

  • And what is wrong with that...?

Democracy won't be destroyed and they are unified... Where is the problem?

  • ??

Well that's what I'm asking you!

  • I think we are confusing each other and support the same thing and misread... lmao.

  • yeah bro lol

  • @0LuckyInternetUser0

Because it's not their decison to make.

  • The video title says "The US opposed that Taiwan is independent" whereas Condeleeza merely says that the US opposes a referendum on UN membership.

    That's not the same thing.

I think the US supports the status quo, which is:

    2 governments. 2 flags. 2 currencies. 2 anthems. 2 armies. 2 capital cities. 2 legislatures. 2 passports....

Almost sounds like 2 countries, doesn't it?

  • @antonyrogers the bottom line is, who cares what Condeleeza Rice and the US think, it is Chinese affair. Her suggestion is welcomed, but it makes no difference taiwan is still a province of China.

  • @antonyrogers

American politic is DUALISM principle. You know it! And...

Yes, basically with this announcement American PAPA was support Taiwan to gain independence (de jure status)!

Just prepare your self to married your girl with American!

    Good luck my friend!

  • Republicans are Pro-China, Democrats aren't . This all began when Nixon visited China in 1972 . Republicans favored China because China would be a strong ally against the Soviets and because the Chinese could mass-produce things for us to import at a cheap price . Democrats have always opposed China because of its Human Rights practices and because they have always favored better relations with Russia .

  • Taiwan is Taiwan. Yeah UNhumen rigths.

What Taiwan don't respect Humen right?

Because you think that China do??

Sorry we cant change the name of a contry juste because Condelisarice ask it!

  • What hypocrites, greedy SOBs!

  • It doesn't matter whether U.S. recognize it or not. That doesn't change anything at all. Taiwan is Taiwan, that's it.

  • @shonenheart20

It did matter! Because American politic is DUALISM! That announcement was said that American PAPA support Taiwan independence! Did you study politic? Mostly Taiwanese politician was American product so they know American politic very well! Dualism politic was also used in Taiwan!

Your Taiwan is good opportunity to help them broken Chinese integrity as they dream!

Just prepare your girl to married American!

    Good luck my friend!

  • Why does it has to do with U.S.A? Taiwan is not the land of U.S.A.

  • Taiwan was a prefecture of Fujian Province and a 'province' for 10 years and only a small section of Taiwan was part of the Qing Dynasty for 212 years.

The ROC was born in 1912 and was the first time that China became a modern, unified nation, when Taiwan was a Japanese colony.

By ignoring the ownership of Taiwan by Aborigines before 1624, a new Chinese historical narrative has been created as a political agenda.

  • NO!!! If American oppose that, then war won't begin!! I love war! I want them to fight, to burn, to abuse each other!! War-lover!

  • also you said really

  • also you said really

  • wow china really is nationalistic.... rice said they shudnt join UN coz of the trouble it'll cost, yet the news anchor just said a totally different thing....

i guess china really is still oppressive and brainwashing....
