  • Did you put something in your headers to restrict flow or rejet your carbs to run without toastin plugs.

  • Yeah that's not a bobber. Everybody thinks they can just put a springer seat on their jap bike and it's a bobber.

  • this is awesome man! i just got a xj750 maxim for $200. I don't know a whole lot but I'm slowly learning as i'm fixing it up. Having some troubles with the carbs however. Wouldn't mind choppin mine up one day and makin somethin cool like this! good job...

  • @JesseMorabito well if you cant get them, I will do a complete rebuild on them for $125.

  • Looks great. Thats what I need to do to my 750. Im working on the carbs later today, thanks for the inspiration.

  • Yikes... there goes the shift selector spring. No pivot at all, it won't last long with that top heavy shifter. Probably already pops out of first on its own judging from the movement. Hope it works out!

  • @HighDesertGold Actaully I didnt have a single Promblem with it. Been all the way to 110 mph and it stayed right in place.

  • Nice bobber man. Going to build one very soon!

  • its a custom rear fender. I welded washers to the uderside of the fender and ran the wires through them
