Thank you for reviewing the candidate's ads. I wish more journalists would explain what's true and false. It's confusing and takes away from what's really important - the issues.
Both Bill McCollum and Rick Scott campaign like children in an argument over who should control the ice cream scoop. I've been turned off by both of their campaigns. Neither concentrates on issues, just bashing the other candidate. Both are corrupt and neither should be a shu-in or considered to be as such. Both act like the type of pigs we already have running our government entities. They are exactly what we do NOT need in government.
@MERCILESSPIT Between these 2 piles of crap Florida loses and NO WAY am I voting for either for Governor and as a moderate Rep voting Dem as can't stand either but esp dislike McCollum. It disgust me what choices we have with these 2 but again NO WAY to McCollum.
Asking Rick Scott to be responsible for every dollar his company spends or bills insurance for is like me being held accountable for every dollar my wife spends at the mall. It's just not realistic. Working with Medicaid/Medicare billing is tough, and I can see how things get done inappropriately. It bloody changes every year, and what is good now, may not be ok to bill for in January.
@AlphaBolt you like to threaten people to vote for your candidate ? That makes it seem a little less likely that Rick Scott is telling the truth.
Remember, Rick Scott "TOLD" Michael Putney he was not responsible he presented to evidence. according to what I read is Rick Scott resigned from HIS Healthcare company Columbia he got $10 Million in Cash & $300 in Stock options.
Mr. Burns says "Excellent, those fools will vote for me.... Smithers add another $10 million to this week’s TV campaign ads... Fraud you say, it’s not fraud when you steal hundreds of millions of dollars from those sheep called the taxpayer”.
I find these ads by Rick Scott and Bill McCollum offensive. The statement they so publicly make about HCA funding abortions is WRONG. First of all, clinics perform abortions. Hospitals only perform them if the pregnancy is a high-risk to the mother, or a rape to an underage female. These women who see these commercials most likely did not want abortions, but health and circumstances warranted them. Since seeing these ads, I will not vote for either, as they are tasteless attacks to women.
@dude4trance Check your facts. He is in no way a fraud. Columbia/HCA was fined for medical billing mistakes due to a change in medicare billing codes, and Rick Scott was never charged criminally. The billing mistakes happened in many many hospitals across the nation not just his. Harvard affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Johns Hopkins affiliated hospitals, Mayo Clinic (These are just a few) were also fined. You, just like millions of other Floridians, need to do your research.
@dude4trance FINALLY this disaster as state attorney general is on his way out of office but agree about Rick scott . I voted for Scott early voting but kid you not that as a Rep I will be voting Dem over Scott/ However the state attorney general is such a disaster that wanted him out of Floridas business and now will be voting against Scott. I can't stand either of these 2 complete disasters.
I support Rick Scott and Jim DeMint. As a voter, I want to know if one of the candidates is a thief or worse. Positive and negative work together to arrive at the truth - the truth we need to make an educated decision. So speak for yourself when you says we don't want to hear negative things.
I'm sure this Alliance is the same kind of things that Jim Demint of SC is doing trying to promote the candidates they want. When will they ever learn that we the voters are not stupid and don't want to hear all the negativity. Rick Scott has taken responsibility for not being on top of everything and learned from. Without his expertise the co would never have grown to the size it did. We need economists in office, not only in FL, but our Federal Gov.

Rick Scott founded the company in 87 and was ousted by the board in 97.
The company plead guilty to the LARGEST FRAUD CASE IN THE NATION.
They paid 1.7 billion in fines
He never operated any type of medical facility, and never held a license to practice law, yet represented hospitals as an attorney.
He is the worse choice for governor running today
