Not a 5 lber mayb 2 or 3 at the least ima guess 4.8 lbs, but a nice fish none the less wat time is the best for pickerel i live centrel NJ wat time should i fish BTW my lake is over run with weeds and i mean over run i cant use weights cuz the weeeds catch them and cover my bait ima start usein small 1/2 grubs in shad ima jig em mayb 4 bass, pickerel or bluegill

Nice pickerel, what lake are you in? I fish down on shubie grand lake where I live, i get a bunch of pickerel but none that big yet.

biggest i ever seen was 7 lbs. i get bitten alot trying to get the hooks out their mouths i normal use spoons and in-line spinners

u should try picket lake in mount unacke, i cought about 7 of them in the summer, the floating frog lures work the best i find

@hiltzter its 4 or five pounds nice fish i catch them about that size in maine ice fishing lake i go to the normal ones are that size there are some 7 or 8 pounders in there too
